Greetings all! With the re-opening of the Drome, I bring thee a new Teaser for the Ep tomorrow!

Ok, so.... the boys have certainly had an interesting time since they've gotten home from the whole battle in Exodus. Earth, normalcy (kinda), humans, sewer sweet sewer, no more bad stuff to happen, right?

Pff.. no matter how much some of us like the homey family aspect of the Clan, it don't A blockbuster make.

Veteran's Day Weekend. Time to reflect and look to the future. time to be thankful and time for parades! that IS why the President's going through New York City right? Or is he checking out reconstruction progress? Well, whatever reason it is, The president's doing a drivethrough of the city.

Which means Security up the Wazoo and out your ears! Cops, secret service, the Dudes in Black! Maybe they'll have a cameo of Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones? ;) :P

Speeeaking of which.. THAT department, where Agent Bishop is head? Maybe they decided to take a vacation at the Wrong time? Or perhaps on strike? We saw the row between the Prez and Bishop (THAT had to burn his britches  ).

Is it going to be up to the boys to stop Another Alien attack? Or is it REALLY an alien attack? What's to say this isn't something conjured up by Bishop? Perhaps this is Bishop's way of saying, "Without us, you are DEAD."

So.... How is THIS going to affect situations? I mean... this is what.. the third alien invasion or something to hit the planet? And WHY always New York? Does ANYone have a theory about this?

DON'T YOU THINK I HAVE ENOUGH QUESTIONS IN THIS POST ALREADY?!

STAY TUNED!!!

Dude, we're open! :D Next week's preview was just..... MUAHAHAHAHAAAA...!

poor Bishop. He has to create fake aliens to keep his funding.

and what about HIS decomposing body. I guess if you have been around as long as he has you are bound to go through a few of those. No matter. Maybe he needs to try and get a new brain this time. Few glitches in the works if you ask me.

More fun and games with Leo. He wasn't too sure about playing hide and seek with the secret service. And the thought of Raph being a secret service agent...oh man......

Too bad the president got things all wrong. Wonder how Splinter's gonna punish them for THIS slip up?????

This was a pretty good episode! I like Baxter's new exosuit with all the legs. I wonder whats going on with Bishop with the sudden bulge in his hand and head...... Maybe he's fixing to turn into a Hulk like creature if he gets too angry? Bishop's tech suit was really awesome with the machine gun wrist.:D

Edit: I wanted to add that Bishop is now very much like Shredder in a way. He has Baxter working for him, and now he has a "battle suit" kind of like how Saki had his Shredder armor.

*sings* Secret... Agent Man! :D Raph as a secret agent would be hilarious.

Today's ep was great. I KNEW that the invasion was fake. I love it when I'm SO right ON. :D

I liked Bishop's walls of specimens. You could see and point out a lot of the aliens we've seen through the seasons.

That....wriggling...in his arm and face was interesting. It kinda reminded me of the movie Princess Mononoke, where the young prince's arm was injured by the demon and would do that weird wriggling. :blanksta:

The conversations among the four boys was great. Leo doesn't *sound* like he's got something in his throat anymore. He's still.. intense, but he doesnt sound as aggressive. Then again, I laughed my tail off after seeing the preview for next week.

The Zit-eans, as I fondly call the fake aliens, were funky looking. The fact that they bloated up and exploded all over the boys made them even less intimidating. But as they showed at the end of the ep, that slime going into the sewers? WHAT is that gonna do? I just hope its not some sort of 'mutating' substance... or DE-mutating.. :o

Money money money.... it was All over money. Ya know, I woulda THOUGHT that with the Prez laying right NEXT to the turtles, he coulda heard some of what they were saying.. oyvey. Well, least we know Bishop's going to be around for a while..

As Katie said, I can just imagine what Splinter's going to do once he sees this new slip-up with the boys being portrayed as the aliens that attacked the president. Looks like they weren't being 'stealthy' enough in their 'exercise'. He's not gonna let them out of the lair ever again..

I though that too. He was looking right at them! I was like, you dumb... Listen to what they are saying!

After last week it was like part of that nightmare came true! Their picture is all across the airwaves and print media!

Wait...I missed like the first 15 minutes...so what the hell happened? What was with Bishops decomposition and all that? Pretty solid episode Id say..at least the last 15 minutes of it.

My mind went to Bad Day as well at the end of the ep. I liked this episode but it wasn't one of my favs. I LOVE Bishop, but I'm not as into aliens. The prez bothered me. I don't really know why, he just did. \

The coming up next week looks to be interesting. I can see it playing out great, but at the same time if it's written badly... I'm gonna leave it up to fait.

He was kind of pulsating and throbbing...Stockman made the comment that the aliens weren't the only things decomposing early...plus we saw him at the roswell landing...the same apparent age as he is now...and that was almost sixty years ago. (not to mention all the shots of him last season in the 1800's)

edit: OHHHHHHHHHHHHH and how about the goopy stuff going into the sewer is probably gonna be the junk that turns Donnie into Gamera!!

I love how this show can take something as cheesy as "another alien invasion" and put it into the story and
1) it makes sense in the story
2) it's not as cheesy as it first seems

That said, a lot of interesting things brought up in this episode. Bishop's appearance in previous time periods was weird before, but now we see his veins (or something) going haywire, and a direct comment from Stockman on "early decomposition." Hm... Perhaps Bishop is one of those freaky people who is sustaining himself with his experiments, and things are slowly falling apart? (Or at least they do until he finds a way to patch up the problem temporarily)

Interesting also how the Turtles got publicity as they did in "Bad Day"... not as obvious, but there is an artist rendering. Geez, Splinter's gonna kill them for this. Or at least confine them to the lair in a major "told ya so," sensei-style. As far as human attempts to depict the Turtles... I wonder where the heck they keep getting those fangs?! :P

Obviously the goop running into the sewers is setting up for something, with the dramatic close-up and background music :D It could very well be leading up to Gamera-Don. But... if that's the alien goop (and it's surely what it looks like), remember they were all covered with it two separate times in this episode. So what? Does it require prolonged exposure? Are they gonna conveniently forget? Does the goop react with sewer water to make a Gamera Generator of Death? Or will it affect the guys in a totally different way? I guess only time will tell.

Can't wait for next week! :D

THE EPISODE WAS GOOD, BUT SURELY NOT MEMORABLE. THE ANIMATION HAS BEEN BETTER. I DONT LIKE BISHOPS NEW OUTFIT, I THINK HE'S SERIOUSLY GOING CRAZY. I CAN LIVE WITHOUT SEEING THESE ALIENS AGAIN.

I LIKE HOW THEY EXPLAINED THE CRASH IN ROSWELL AS AN EARTH ATTACK ON AN ALIEN SPACESHIP. ITS COOL TO SEE DIFFERENT TWIST AND "WHAT IFS" IN CERTAIN STORIES. JUST LIKE WE SAW IN "THE DARKNESS WITHIN" THAT PUT A TWIST ON THE REASON WHY DUTCH SETTLERS MIGRATED TO THE AMERICAS.

LOOKS LIKE SOMETHING IS HAPPENING WITH BISHOP PHYSICALLY. COULD HE BE EXPERIMENTING WITH HIMSELF? WELL SOMETHING IS DEFINITELY UP WITH HIS RIGHT HAND. LOOKS LIKE WE GET AN EXPLANATION TO HIS RED RIGHT HAND ON HIS 2006 TOY. (BISHOP (http://www.ninjaturtles.com/toys/2006/2006prototypes.html)) I WAS ITCHING FOR A SHOWDOWN BETWEEN BISHOP AND THE TURTLES. THEIR BATTLES HAVE ALWAYS BEEN MEMORABLE.

I WONDER WHATS GONNA HAPPEN WITH THE ALIEN BLOOD THAT DRIPPED IN THE SEWERS.

Is it me, or does the artists rendering of the turtles look very similar to the turtles in Leatherhead's nightmare in last season's "Hunted"?

I knew this epsiode wouldn't involve random aliens trying to take over.

But man Bishop is one Son of a B*tch in setting up a fake invasion and making the President think the Turtles are the aliens.

The best part of the episode is when Mieky quoted Dr. Peter Vekmman from Ghostbusters. "He Slimed me!", that was priceless.

I liked how they showed a flashback of the mysterious 1947 UFO siting. Course we already know Bishop is not human since he's been around the days of the Civil War and he survived that hook in "Bishop's Gambit".

Too bad our boys didn't got any hero credit for saving the president, course then it would be like in the old school cartoon where they get known to the public. Now they're being known to the public after mistaken for aliens.

I give this a 5/5. I enjoy seeing the TMNT beat up Bishop. looks like next weeks episode has to do with Leo's new Attitude.

THE EPISODE WAS GOOD, BUT SURELY NOT MEMORABLE. THE ANIMATION HAS BEEN BETTER.I agree with you. While I loved all the little tidbits they put in the story, I didn't come out of this going "Wow!" like I did for, say, "Grudge Match" or "I, Monster." There wasn't as much fighting, and when there was, it was pretty standard. Not bad, but standard.

Though one thing I liked was this one shot where you could see Leo in the background climbing down the fire escape. They could have just put him with the others, and I appreciated the detail.

Some of the line deliveries could have been better. Like Raph's invasion quote in the poll. It was funny, but not delivered well, I thought.

So a solid episode, but not the best so far. Not a big deal.

I really liked this ep. Now that Bishop has got (relatively) unlimited resources and the whole city (country?) is out for the Turtles, I can’t wait to see where they take this. I also wonder what’s up with Bishop, and I vote for genetic manipulations falling apart. There are only so many times you can “fix” something before it starts coming apart at the seams. Between him and Karai, the Turtles really aren’t getting any rest.

And I really loved some of the one-liners, most of them coming from Raph. Loved his alien invasion line. And now I have the urge to dress him up Bond style.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHH and how about the goopy stuff going into the sewer is probably gonna be the junk that turns Donnie into Gamera!!

Yea.. I was thinking that too...so this ep might lead up to the Gameradon ep!

As for this ep... we learned a few things about Bishop:

1: He was responsible for the Roswell crash (poor Asgard).
2: His HQ is Area 51 (wonder if he's met anybody from SG1??? :P)
3: His body is decomposing, which is the effects of living so long. This is somewhat similar to the crogmagnon man villian in DC comics named Vandal Savage. He's lived so long that every once in a while his body starts to decompose so he uses his descendents for body parts. Im sure that's the real reason Bishop has clones...for body parts... :P

As for the president... aww man...the turtles never get a break. Now Mr. President (what the shell is his name anyways?!) is on their arses.

Did ya notice the artist rendering of the turtles??? They were all wearing red masks.

I wonder tho... with the president after them does Raph still wanna be a secret service agent??? :P

As for next week... dang...not even Klunk can get Leo in a good mood! :ohwell:

Intersting how Bad Day foreshadowed some actual events such as the Turtles becoming public. Sure it's a coincident story wise but still interesting.

Can't wait to get home and watch his episode, sign I wish my VCR was not so poor, I doubt I even get color.

This episode ended up being much more interesting than I thought. I was expecting another boring alien invasion type thing but has a nice twist.

Does anyone think that Zog is still alive and is probably one of the Tricertons in Bishop's lab?

And what's up with next week's episode? I have no clue what it's about.

A nice episode not as good as "Bad Day" and "Dragon's Brew" but still memorable. :) I felt sorry for all those poor aliens floating in those tanks (even the Triceratons). That's horrible what Bishops's doing. I hope later on the turtles will be able to rescue them. And then tricking the president so he can get more funding. :x I hope Donatello analyzes that goop and sends the results to the President or something because Bishop needs to be found out. He is...evil.

Poor guys this is one of the few times they lose. And Leonardo's right they don't know what's going on here or how high the stakes are...

Aska_Badoura
11-12-2005, 01:46 PM
Bishop is really lower than low. That's just tacky, scaring people to death just to ensure your funding.

Poor Don, poor guys! They were just trying to save the President, not get themselves on the front page, as nasty slimy aliens... :(

But you know, there had to be some witnesses at the United Nations who saw the aliens, and they're gonna know that they were tall and blue... so there's going to be some confusion as to just WHAT people saw.

The crawling skin thing Bishop was having: Okay.... NOW what?

Raph stopping Leo, saying they need a plan first: oh, this role reversal is just so funny! :D

Points I have:

1. I thought the EPF was a secret organization. I mean, before the Triceraton invasion, people would have laughed at the idea of the government having something to protect the Earth. But after the invasion, maybe they came out in the open, to make the people feel like something was being done to address the problem. So I guess that's not a big deal.

2. Twice in the end, they called it the "Earth Defense Force". But it's the Earth Protection Force. Goof? *shrug* Things like that bother me. :p

I liked Bishop's walls of specimens. You could see and point out a lot of the aliens we've seen through the seasons. Yeah, it was good, it just kinda bugs me when they're straight off the model sheet. :p Actually, I thought they should have varied them a little more; Bishop has an inordinant amount of Utroms in his custody. I didn't think there even were that many on Earth. Aside from that, I'm still pretty darn sure he knew exactly what the Shredder really was. Anyway, I had my eye out for new critters that may show up later, but they were obviously just filler "oh yeah, a bunch of aliens", and they weren't letting us see them too well.

The conversations among the four boys was great. Leo doesn't *sound* like he's got something in his throat anymore. He's still.. intense, but he doesnt sound as aggressive.See, he was in a good mood that time. What? You can't tell the difference? Well, neither can anyone else. :p

Ya know, I woulda THOUGHT that with the Prez laying right NEXT to the turtles, he coulda heard some of what they were saying.. oyvey. Well, least we know Bishop's going to be around for a while..I think he was busy freaking out at the moment; he probably wouldn't have comprehended what they were saying anyway. It's hard to figure out what's going on when you're terrified. :p

As Katie said, I can just imagine what Splinter's going to do once he sees this new slip-up with the boys being portrayed as the aliens that attacked the president. Aww... they were just trying to keep the President safe... it's not like they just decided to go running around in public or anything. They blew it, but their hearts were in the right place... *pouts*

After last week it was like part of that nightmare came true! Their picture is all across the airwaves and print media!
Well... the world's already seen Don's face, so that's not entirely new. The unfortunate thing, this time, is that now they've been pinpointed in New York. Alien hunters are gonna concentrate there now. :ohwell:

Wait... after reading the other messages in this thread -- am I the only one who thinks that broadcast with Don and the Prime Leader was a worldwide thing?Perhaps Bishop is one of those freaky people who is sustaining himself with his experiments, and things are slowly falling apart? (Or at least they do until he finds a way to patch up the problem temporarily)Considering how long he's been around, he's most probably found all sorts of ethically questionable methods for keeping himself healthy. Perhaps the skin-crawling is something he's used to dealing with.

I wonder where the heck they keep getting those fangs?! LOL, I think the reports were getting mixed up. The Exploding Wonders had sharp teeth and red eyes, and so did the drawing of the guys.

Obviously the goop running into the sewers is setting up for something, with the dramatic close-up and background music Really? I didn't interpret it that way at all. I didn't even give a thought to the goop going into the sewers... I thought it was just a parting shot, "we're putting the city back together" thing, and the shot of the drains just referenced that the reporter was talking about the Turtles. I guess there could be some repercussions... Hmm.

Is it me, or does the artists rendering of the turtles look very similar to the turtles in Leatherhead's nightmare in last season's "Hunted"? It's the teeth. The ones in the dream had claws and forked tongues, too, and these don't. These have red eyes, those didn't.

I didn't come out of this going "Wow!" like I did for, say, "Grudge Match" or "I, Monster." There wasn't as much fighting, and when there was, it was pretty standard. Not bad, but standard. They can't all make us drool. ;) (Oh, and I forgot to say earlier, I love your redesign of Klunk! I may have to do one too now. :))

And WHY always New York? Does ANYone have a theory about this? The Triceraton invasion was the whole world. They just did most of their searching in New York, because that's where the traced signal ended up.

The Utroms ended up in New York, because... why not? They had to end up somewhere. The only reason Splinter and the guys are there too is because Yoshi moved to New York with the Utroms, and by necessity, if the ooze was going to contaminate something, it'd probably be in New York.

Now, why was the President in New York when the invasion was staged? Um... because of the United Nations, I think. They had a reason, just can't remember the exact wording.

Or, because Siberia just wouldn't draw the same sort of publicity as New York City... ;)

Well I set my VCR to record and I got jipped. I watched up to the part where Bishop comes in to "save" the prez, and the prez asks Bishop to save him. Then the turtles duck down right near the prez while Bishop and his Black Ops shoot at them. At that point the tape just cuts out. I'm still unsure why it did that, if anyone paid attention at all did the show run longer than usual? Because the past times I've set it, the show was more than over before the time. I set it from 10:30-11 and the tape did not run out either.

But by reading the posts I have an idea of the ending, but if someone could fill me in with some detail, I'd highly appreciate it.

And just in my opinion, I don't like how Bishop is turning out to be something other than human, or altered. I think it would be better if he were just a normal human who is a monster in the art of combat. It would be more realistic and better to me. Why does the bad-ass always have to be an alien or mutation?

After the guys duck to avoid being shot at, they realize the situation has been turned on them and decide to get out of there. After the shooting stops, Bishop approaches the President, who pretty much promises that whatever Bishop wants - money, men, etc. - he's got it. And of course we get a great smirk out of Bishop. Son of a monkey. *seethes*

Anyway, the guys are watching the news later (and you can just tell by their postures on the couch that they're pretty bummed about the day's adventures). The president gives a statement and an "artist's rendering" of the "aliens" is shown, which is basically the TMNT with glowy red eyes, fangs, and red masks. (all four of them - yeehaw!) This gets a good double take from the guys. Maaan, they're in trouble.

Then street cleaners are shown working on the nasty alien goo, and we get a nice closeup of the stuff running into the sewers. Is it going to create future problems? Only time will tell, I guess.

This is only from memory, so if anyone wants to fill in anything I may have missed...

Off Topic I finally saw Bad Day. Great episode. It almost made me think the Turtles are in deep sh*t after seeing Bishop making them known to the public and their belove ones getting killed.

I was surprised to see the Mystic Foot again, haven't seen them since Return to New York part 2. And there now on Karai's side. Guess she hasn't forgiven the turtles for what they did to her master. Poor girl she wants vengences for her master even though he was evil. Hope our heros will be forgiven later in Season 4/

I think it would be cool if the turtles attacked Bishop's Lab and found Zog still alive. Speaking of the turtle's allies, I wonder where Leatherhead is?

Anyways, I thought it was really cool how Raph saved Donnie from being blasted by Bishops machine gun wrist blaster. Raph's "Ah, I wanted to hear him hit the bottom" when Bishop fell through a tube in the ship was great, lol.

The preview of the next episode made me think of Batman , due to the way Leo was threatening a punk. He's like the only turtle who's changed his attitude during this season. I wouldn't blame him since there's still crooks and villians running around even without Shredder around.

I really don't think it's Zog. Remember the guys knocked out a whole bunch of Triceratons in the invasion. It would have been pretty easy for Bishop to snatch the ones that the Republic didn't notice to pick up. Or from that ship that sunk, or the ones in the sewer or in the park they knocked out those two trikes (one who had his face mask cracked, I wonder if he's still alive). It's actually pretty interesting to think of these things. But anyways I think if they did make Zog alive it probably would've cheapened his sacrifice that he made for the turtles (which they did anyways because Shreddar survived and got away).

Anyways what I want to see is if the turtles will rescue the aliens this season. And if so what'll happen to them. Will they move into the sewers take up a residence (much like the mutates move into the Labyrinth in "Gargoyles")? Would they be allies to the turtles? Would they move into Leatherhead's empty (assuming it is as he's "presumed" dead) old subway station? The possibilities are endless.

This episode was great. I never knew Bishop was involved with Roswell. I don't get how Area 51 had to do with aliens when it's actually a testin' facility for planes such as the SR-71 Blackbird and F-117 Nighthawk. Wikipedia has a pic of a sign near Rachel, Nevada that says "The Extraterrestrial Highway," aka Nevada State Route 375. I figured I should give some info about Area 51 so it won't as mysterious to some people. Anyways, the action was great. The aliens weren't much of a threat and I thought Bishop was gonna explode when he started to decompse. I like how the invasion was faked, but I thought the saucers were gonna deliever aliens. The aliens that Bishop created were too derivative of the aliens you fight in the recent Area 51 game IMHO. I especially liked how the Turtles handled Bishop and his armed techno dudes in that assualt vehicle that Bishop rode in. His techno suit reminded me of the Borgs of Star Trek and it made me think he would always be like that. I don't see why the president had to call the Turtles aliens when they aren't. That was weird how Bishop's men destroyed the aliens that he created. Anyone notice that?

I give this episode a five out of five. Next week's episode looks like it'll be a new direction for the Turtles.

Well in Stargate and the TMNT-verse Area 51 has always been about the aliens.

In the Archie series one of the turtles (I think it was Raphael) was caught and sent to Area 51 where he met a Roswell alien. The alien helped him escape.

And if I remember correctly there was an alien invasion at Area 51 in the Image series.

kinda cool that this season shows the president(fictional since a lot of Tv shows don't feature a presidnet resimbeling the actul one in service). And Area 51 as well.

Which is one of the most mysterious places to date.

I think it was Don, Future Don, and Raph...:P

Hmmmm...... After doing some thinking I wonder if Bishop has Leatherhead again like he did in season 3. It wouldn't be suprising since both Leatherhead and Bishop were at Shredder's building at the same time and we haven't seen Leatherhead in season 4 yet. Also, it's too bad that Bishop never got to fight Shredder. I doubt he ever will, now that Shredder is in the "Popsicle Zone" lol.:D

The best part of the episode is when Mieky quoted Dr. Peter Vekmman from Ghostbusters. "He Slimed me!", that was priceless.

I swear, you guys hear movie quotes in anything.

Leo: "I want coffee."

"OMG!!!111!!1! He said the line from Bruce Willis' 1995 smash hit, Dreaming of Geneva!1! I love that!!"

Please.

You can't say that's not what they were going for. It was almost the same tone and everything (I'd know. It's my favorite movie). My favorite turtle quoted my favorite Ghostbuster. Priceless.

I think it was Don, Future Don, and Raph...:P

No Don was with Kid Terra, Leo and Mike. It was Splinter, Candy Fine, Raph, Ninjara, Future raph and Future Don.

As far as the episode goes it gives me a couple of theories.

1) The reason why Stockman is working for Bishop is because Bishop could construct him a new body (one of flesh and blood). It only makes sense. Judging from this episode it is all but certain that Bishop has reincarnated himself several times firstly because he was at the Roswell incident which wouldn't make sense time wise. Secondly because of Baxter's totally obvious body decomposition comment. So using this same technology I believe that Bishop will give Baxter a new human body in exchange for his loyalty and hard work.

2) The reason how we'll get the massive Mutant Don is obviously through that slime leftover from the instant aliens. I mean, could they make the music any more dramatic?

It was a good episode overall. At first I thought it was going to be one of those episodes has a lot of action. Not much else. But instead this episode has become sort of like the Secret Origins and Alien Invasion/Worlds Collide of season four. The episode which pretty much sets up the events which will occur in the rest of the season. Ya I'm done now.

Well remember last season it was revealed that Bishop is really old because he was pals with President Grant. This makes him at least 200.

Whoops...

But I do think you're right...especially considering the "In season 4 Stockman's worse than ever." image from the TMNT preview. Bishop has to have promised Baxter a new body, and i assume Baxter's promised his mind to help with not only super-soldiers but to keep Bishop himself from breaing down.

on to Gamera-Don, who knows They were all four exposed to the Zit Alien's sludge. Think that it'll come incontact with something in the sewers to make it mutangenic?

He got Slimed and so did Dr. Peter Vekkman.

And if so what'll happen to them. Will they move into the sewers take up a residence (much like the mutates move into the Labyrinth in "Gargoyles")? Somehow, I can imagine that'd be pretty crowded. That was a lot of critters. http://www.geocities.com/jafarnut/blink.gif

(assuming it is as he's "presumed" dead)I think it's more presumed that he's alive, considering Hun is alive. The guys probably keep in contact with Leatherhead more often than what they air on the show.

Hmmmm...... After doing some thinking I wonder if Bishop has Leatherhead again like he did in season 3. It wouldn't be suprising since both Leatherhead and Bishop were at Shredder's building at the same time and we haven't seen Leatherhead in season 4 yet.Eep! I hope not..

1) The reason why Stockman is working for Bishop is because Bishop could construct him a new body (one of flesh and blood). Ohhhhh. You know, that is pretty likely... but I thought by now he'd prefer the enhanced strength and durability of a robotic body. But that is a good point..

2) The reason how we'll get the massive Mutant Don is obviously through that slime leftover from the instant aliens. I mean, could they make the music any more dramatic?*blinks* I can't figure out why I interpreted that shot so differently from everyone else.. must be crazy, I guess (feel free to second that motion, if necessary :goof: ).

I really liked this episode, and I was expecting not to like it because i'm not a sci-fi episode fan. But I really have to say that Raphael had me on the floor in this one. He had some great one liners and he was sarcastic as hell, he was kind of like old toon Raphael in this one.

And he kept picking on Donatello in this episode. I Love Donatello he is such a cutie. Sam Regal does a great job portraying him and he has great dilverery on his lines. Loved the little bit between Michaelangelo and Donatello right after Mikey got slimed and Donatello said he thought he wore it well LOL Donatello your so cool!

Oh I Loved the part where Raphael is looking around through those goggles at the UFO's and then gets frustrated in typical Raphael fashion and says: "argh, this techno stuff confuses me! Just show what to hit!" LOL

And I loved how he wanted to wait and hear Bishop hit bottom, that had me giggling.

And again for the third episode in a row Donatello has saved Mikey's butt...Michaelangelo maybe you need more practice your slipping boy Donatello has become your baby sitter:dead:

The whole pulsating hand with Bishop and needing another body because it was decomposing reminded me alot of Naraku from Inuyasha. If Bishop starts taking his body part tries reconstructing it with other creatures body parts I'm gonna flip, because that'll make him exactly like Naraku:o

Yeah, I noticed that too. There's got to be a reason the writers are playing that up so much. Perhaps a SAINW refrence? Maybe we're finally going to see that overprotective/paranoid side of Donny that we've been expecting since he got back. He probably keeps imagining Mikey losing his arm, so whenever a baddie gets anywhere near Mikey, Don goes all hyper-protective. Maybe it's forshadowing for some sacrifice or break down on Don's part...Perhaps the shift will focus from Leo's angst to Don's like so many people around here seem to want. If so, it would make sense if it has something to do w/ Gimera Don.

Of course, it used to be that Raph was saving everyone's shells (especially Donny...Leo some too) in every other episode. Raph doesn't seem to be the "got your back" type as much lately. Raph & Mikey seem to be getting more distant lately. I don't know, but their only "bonding" seems to be Raph hitting & threatening Mikey. Hmm, the writers might be trying to move the focus to the shifting loyalties in the group dynamic. It's still Leo/Raph, but now it's more Don/Mikey, Leo/Mikey & Raph/Don. Leo/Don & Raph/Mikey don't seem that close... But maybe it's just me. Honestly, they all seem more distant lately...except Mikey & Don. That's what I think the writers are trying to get across w/ the whole Don saving Mikey in every episode thing. Just mho.
