More Moderators please!?!

I guess everyone has noticed the sudden influx of less then desirable peeps in the forums lately. I have started this thread to call for some more Moderators please.

Maybe a general moderator would be a good idea, someone who can cover for when other moderators cannot attend death matches due to other duties. :-?

I agree. The current Moderator are doing their job very well, but can't be here all the time. I think there should be some backup ones, but it is all up to Krang to decide.

One that would be online earlier (earlier for me, that is). Someone located in Europe, perhaps?

Yes, the Technodrome has always had a certain chemistry where everyone got along. Honestly, I've never seen so much fighting for the ten months I've been here. I hope it's only a passing phase...

Ok, now all of our active mods (Azure, DarthRaph, HT, Kali, Machias, and Ratking) can moderate every forum. I think I set it up right, but just to be sure, post a test post somewhere and make sure you can still moderate. I also added a private forum for moderators in case it is needed (but you can only see it if you are a mod).

Also, since mods have control over all the forums, I'm going to be a little more strict on accepting new mods. To be eligible, you have to have been a member of these forums for over 6 months and never had a warning. If anyone meets those requirements and wants to be a mod, post here.

I'm usually around during the day, but since my 'powers' had been limited to just one section, if some snod-fodder starts having a joyride in another section where the mods are vacant, there was nothing I could do about it. Talk about slight aggrevation!

But yeah, these forums had been pretty pleasent. I guess we're experiencing the rush of newly reawakened TMNT fans, and then a bunch more who are out of school for winter break... so what do they do? Get all riled up on the forums! *rolls eyes* Oh well, at least it wasn't like the insidious spam riots of yore.

Usually one doesn't, but one may be a mod when one is needed. For instance, because of recent events we have had a need of mods so one would be needed....I am not sure if one is needed now though...

Just what ARE the requirements for being a mod here? I've been a mod at only one other forum, and that didnt' last long...

The current requirements for being a mod are that you have to have been a member of these forums for over 6 months and never had a warning. Right now we don't need any more mods, but Nunchucker, Nturtle, Karpo, Tiger Powers, and Deathknight all meet the requirements and will be the next ones considered as mods. For people who have shown interest and have met the requirements so far but haven't been here long enough (FreshRazz, NTCF, and you), you will all be considered after you have been a member for 6 months.
