If this thread has already been done I appalagise I looked around and didn't see this done in any detail so here we go...

I was wondering what every ones expectations for the characters are for this season/ duration of the series, are. Like how exactly do you want to see your favorite charcters grow?

for me this mine

For Leonardo I'm really liking what they are doing with his character right now, and it nice that they are going into the dark part of his psychy right and his desire and expectation with his family and his turmoil over his family nearly dieing at the end of season three. As of now I guess we are getting that, But I would also like to see Leonardo's anger resolved at some point.

For Donatello, I really hope that the show delves a little deeper into his nature and personality and give him a little more spot light and focus and have episodes that center on what makes him tick instead of just his invetions. I would to see the muysteriuos surounding Donatello to be exposed. Also I would like to see his feelings for April played up a little more as well and him coping with the fact that she is with Casey. Bad Day showed that he still has deep feelings for and I find that interesting, could make for some graet episodes to see a little of that, and maybe see him display a little jealously or bittereness toward Casey because of his lingering feeling for April.

For Raphael I have to say that I'm enjoying Raphael's charcter a little more than I did in earlier episodes. I like that he has mellowed out a bit and has become a more supportive character to the group and isn't quite the loos canon he was ealier. However I do agree with some of the Raphael's fans out there, it is cool that he has mellowed out and all but I think I would to see a little more brooding on his part and him going off on his own and tackling his own demons.

For Michaelangelo, I enjoyed the episode of him in Grudge Match and his seemingly lack of conifidance in his abilties to beat his opponent. We saw a bit of Michaelangelo's insecurites in him self and his abilties in this episode, and I would like to see that played up more and maybe put a little more focus on his place in the team and how he feels about it, and maybe get inside his head more and show how he feels and what makes him tick. In short I wouldn't mid seeing a little adversity thrown his way.

For April, I'm okay with what they are doing in making her a fighter so long as they don't go over board and make her to good and compentent to fast. I would like to see some focus on her training and trying to get better and show her trying to tackle the whole ninjitsu thing. Perhaps show her struggling in few things and make things appear to come so easily to her.

Casey, I'm really, really glad that they seem to have stopped portraying him as some bumbleing doofus and are haveing him come across as his bad ass self like how he did in the first season. I hope they continue to make him sharper and more intelligent. Aslo I would like to see more time spent with him and Raphael again just to get that comradery of two short tempered violent hot heads that see eye to eye on things.

yeah, good post.
I just wish they'd focus on Raph a little bit....it's always Leo this, Leo that...not that I totally dig what they're giving up Leo-wise, I love it..but they're forgetting us poor Raph fans... hehe...

They're probably focusing one one TMNT at a time in this season. Leo's the first one and I think Donnie will follow up as next.

Excellent stuff, Sage Ninja. That's more or less my thoughts too. And I'm also glad that Raph is mellowing out and maturing. I couldn't really stand him before, but now I'm starting to really like him. :)

I hope Mikey starts maturing and becomes more focused in combat like the way he was in the rematch.

I really want Donatello to get some spot light, he doesn't get enough exposure and I want to see that. Bith Michaelangelo and Donatello kind of fall into the back ground a whole lot, they never get two parters dedicated to them and rarely any episodes that explore their inner thoughts or emotions like they do with Raphael and Leonardo. Michaelangelo gets slightly more spot light than Donatello but they both need to have some focus on what makes them tick on the inside

Donatello had an awsome serious episode that was didicated to him which was the best episode in the series (in my humble opinion) and that was cool, I would like to see a serious episode foucused on Mikey as well that is similar to that, The super hero eppies with Mikey are great but I want them to go deeper with this turtle, not just what he is interested in. Basically I want to see what makes these two mild tempered turtles tick, and not get over shadowed by their more agressive and more flamboyant brothers.

I still stand on what I said about Leonardo and Raphael.
