Animation Insider has posted a press release (http://www.animationinsider.net/article.php?articleID=916) for the January 31st 2006 DVD release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Volume 20: Turtles Against H.A.T.E.. In case you didn't see my post in the other thread, it looks like RightStuf mixed up the DVD titles and placed the wrong one on their listing at first..

Why the promotion for this disc? It has an exclusive DVD-ROM game. The cover art with this press release looks somewhat better than the cover art on RightStuf (http://www.rightstuf.com/1-800-338-6827/catalogmgr/9wNe3NL026Wam9XO=7/browse/item/68049/4/852/24). Whoever wrote the first paragraph seems to have mistaken the classic series with the new one though. Ugh. :ohwell:

The cover in the "Press Release" link looks awesome but I'm sure they will use the unimpressive re-hash crapfest from the "Right Stuff" Link...Anyways I'm excited about this. More new episodes for me ^_^

Animation Insider has posted a press release (http://www.animationinsider.net/article.php?articleID=916). The cover art with this press release looks somewhat better than the cover art on RightStuf (http://www.rightstuf.com/1-800-338-6827/catalogmgr/9wNe3NL026Wam9XO=7/browse/item/68049/4/852/24).

It seems to be a better pic. However, I just wish that Animation Insider had posted a slightly BIGGER pic so a person could SEE the cover art better. About all that I can see of the details of it is that it has Leo and Donnie on it, the TMNT logo, and the DVD title, and that's IT!!! I tried saving it off on this comp to see if I could enlarge it, and I couldn'T! (Couldn't DELETE the thing, either! Hope I can before I leave the library.)

Anyway, I'm glad they straightened the order out again. Now I know WHICH volume to look for come January 31. Thankies for this info.

Peace.

Eh, I think both of these covers suck, but I am definitly going to buy this dvd, because I loved the episode with H.A.T.E.

They are really skimping on their dvd marketing...
They need to stop using pre existing images as cover clip art and hire someone to create some new ones. They should need to think of it like a comic book cover. If the cover images are exciting then the DVDs sell even more. They know fans are going to buy it regardeless which I will but I want to see some orginal artwork. It could even be a scene highlighted from an episode edited for the cover. They all are looking the same. The spines are the only way I know the differences anymore now that they use words instead of images but I miss that too...
