Krang in Mirage?

There are some similarities....

Very vague similarities, but not much. It's like comparing a lemon to an orange. In anycase, Krang never really did look like an atomicly correct brain. But he still looks like one where as the utroms are just stubby little flesh balls with little stubby apendages.

That being said, I think Utroms and OS Krang look very different.

I've seen them, I've owned graphic novels from the early days of Mirage.

While they do look similar, I think it's easy to tell the difference

And origin changed, because Krang at one point had a physical body. Wonder what that looked like. Oh, and maybe that's why he has the tenticals in the first place...he is the an alien brain, I'm sure there are diffrences.

That being said, Turtle Soup was a bunch of collected stories. That's probably the reason why Krang was in there. As far as Krang being in the Mirage universe, NO. Peter has said over and over again that the only issues that matter are the ones in Vol. 1, including the one-shots, Some of Vol. 2, Vol. 4, and both volumes of Tales. (Though Issues 3 and 4 of Vol 2 of Tales are a "Could have happened" scenario.)

Krang only lives in the hearts and minds of the Old School show and the Archie comics.

X gave me the story...the TMNT are attacked by Krang and his mutated puppy...and in the end you find that it's a kid playing with his TMNT figures...talk about a product placement...:P

it's from turtle soup and I posted about this a couple years ago or whatever not even sure when anymore....but the story is this...the turtles are fighting krang and some monster dog he mutated....and it ends up it's just some kid playing with his tmnt action figures....and the kid mom busts into the room and he's like destroyed it all lol....
but I must agree the old utroms did have a very simular look to krang more so in later seasons of the show actully then he did in the first few seasons....

krang was based on the utrom design, but he doesnt look exactly like an utrom. If i was your average run of the mill guy who saw a picture of an utrom and knew about the old show. Im sure i would say "hey thats krang."

Im not trying to argue with anyone. Im just not going to say they dont like any thing alike, when they are both small, round, pink, and have tentacles.
