They are great!!! They are supposed to be on shelves up here so I am awaiting their arrival impatiently..

I saw them starting to pop up on Ebay with "deluxe figure" prices attached to them... So I figured it was just a matter of time before we saw some pics on here!

Did you just get the two?

They were the only two they had. I'm going to have to go to another Target store to look for the other two.

I found them in some sort fo Christmas section. I was looking for the candy, and they were sitting in a box. They were around a lot of Christmas candy, and some other toys, and a few plush animals.

All the photos I've seen didn't have them holding their weapons, so that is a good surprise.

I've seen a few go on Ebay for about $10... They are adorable though. Maybe if I am good, Santa will give me a set :-P

I'm not sure if they can hold them on their own. They are strapped in with a plastic band that they were packaged with.

Reminds me of turtle trolls for some reason. I'll probably buy them since lord knows we haven't had much for turtle variants recently

I saw them in the candy section in Target tonight. Unfortunatly all they had were Michelangelo (which I might just end up getting for my mom :P). I wish they'd had Raphael tho. Ah well....Im sure they'll be there when I go to Target next.

It depends which Target you go to, what characters you will find. Some I went to had only Mikey, some only had Don and Leo.

I admit, these are cute, and not as crappy as the 1980's cutesy varients. They don't look like they do in the show, though, but I still want to get one or two. Maybe the whole set, but Mikey's who I want the most... and Raph...

My dad went to two Target stores today and picked up Don for me. Other than the one store having a signle Donatello, all they had were a full box of Mike. I'll post a picture of the three as soon as I get it. Hopefully I'll find Leo this weekend.

Starting to sound like a pattern... As if they shipped out tons of Raph and Mike and are going to make everyone work for the other two... Guess that explains why I've seen Don and Leo selling on Ebay for $10...

Good luck in your searches! Cannot wait to see photos of the other two!

A lot of the figures come with those-- it doesn't mean necessarily that they can't hold their weapons. Its just to keep the weapons from falling out of their hands while they're being shipped.

I know that, but just by looking at them, they look like they'd fall out very easily; Like the weapons are too small for their hands.

My dad looked at another Target store while he was running errands today, and found another box filled with Mikes, one Raph, and one Don.

Yeah.. Was talking to someone who purchased all four and they expressed a fear of losing the weapons because they did not seem large enough for the hands. If indeed that is the case, it is just Playmates doing what they do best eh?

From my experience working at a Target store doing over night stocking last year, I would guess that what is actually going on is that the cases are just too large. Cases usually have all of a certain type of figure together. So if the stock person started filling the shelf from either end of the case, you would probably get just one or two of the characters since only about half of the case will fit on the shelf.

They are packed in the display box.

I work retail currently (as I am a student) and make a huge effort to put a little of everything out on the floor. If we get a box with different versions deeper down, I make the effort to put at least a few of each on the floor to optimize sales.

To only pull the ones off the top of the box would definitely decrease sales. But I guess in some stores, that's the way it goes!

And I was under the impression these figures/toys were being displayed in their display boxes anyhow...

It may cut into sales, but most of the people I've worked with who stocked shelves really didn't care about such things.

As for display cases, I don't know if they ship in a display case or not. The store I bought them from had them in cardboard bins along with various other misc. Christmas toys. But the bins are not specific to the items that are stocked in them.

Here is a short video of them in action. (http://www.campgary.com/gary/Spar.AVI) It's hard to hold them all at once, so it's not very good.

Make it fast. These were part of Target's Christmas toy section of stocking stuffers. I doubt they will still be around for long.

You probably had the prices right. When I bought my first set, they were $2.99 each. I went back a week or two ago and the price had dropped to $1.99 each.
