Yeah just as I started watching Season 4 on TV and downloading the episodes I havn't seen yet they stop showing new ones. That kinda made me mad.
it's break time..i hate it
Not me! I don't hate it.
TMNT doesn't control my life, see?
It's not like I ever wake up thinking about it.
It's not like it could ever influence my fevered dreams.
Not even remotely like that.
I can stop any time I want. *twitch*

Dude what's your problem? Show some respect.
I for 1 don't like reruns, just as the series was getting really good and Leo was feeling better-they cut us off for reruns:cry: Now any reason why it's Cousion Sid? Instead of reruning the 4th season over in order? At least those who missed episodes can watch it.

;) I think the *twitching* at the end of her post kinda showed that she COULDN'T live w/o the show.
I don't like reruns, either, but I think it's fine that they've at least finished the danged arc before cutting it off (as they have done in ages past). Sort of gives us a BIG sigh of relief after some major emotional constipations.
And Cousin Sid IS the first episode of season 4. In reality. Notice the turtles are way the heck more bandaged up in that episode than in any other. However, I also think it would be wise to rerun the out-of-order episodes in order. That would be neat for those who missed out on em.

ah! ok. Well I agree it's been sad few weeks seeing Leo so......MAD and hearing his voice in pain does hurt as well. Cuz Sid was the first ep to season 4 wasn't it? I forgot:D
Hey anyone think Leo is heartbroken cause the girl he liked backstabbed him as well?

Reruns are necessary since many fans(not me) sometimes miss an episode or two. Especially for the young fans, who probably get confused with this long storyline. It would be too much to air all 26 episodes strait thru 26 weeks. A break is good so we can catch up or reflect on what happened so far. As for Christmas Eve, 4kids should air "Mikey's Christmas Rescue". A great episode that even the casual fan can understand. It was aired last Christmas, and not since, so this will be the perfect time.

I hope so; didn't see that ep the first time around.
And as much as I wanted to see 'em all, I did miss a couple episodes. Reruns are both annoying and a blessing all at once.

okay lets blow my post out of proportion...it's not that I can't live without it...I gives me something to look forward to that's all. After along ass week of driving my school bus, with 2-3 trips a DAY(10-16 hr days here guys) I need something to look forward to. These past four weeks have bee grueling...my job ain't easy. I like to enjoy me weekend with my show on Saturdays then get on with the day...now I'll just sit online while I wake up on Sats...
Unless yer talkin about Iris......never mind...hell sometimes i think i can't live without it, it's just that little bit of fun during the week

Hey, I'd say that they've done pretty well where the rerun thing is concerned, compared to the OTHER shows that are on with them. The TMNT went from September 10th til this past Saturday with nary a rerun in sight. That's good, compared to, say, "Winx Club", which has ALREADY shown SEVERAL reruns since the start if IT's new season ('course, 4KidsTV is now running it, and that stupid "Bratz" TWO times apiece on Saturdays, now, so I guess that's understandable:roll: ). So, to MY mind, where the rerun thing is concerned, our Boys in Green have done MUCH better than the other shows.
'Sides...I really wanted to get "Cousin Sid" burned off on DVD using my "new" (as in got it last March) DVD-recorder, since I've got how I want to do my home-burned DVDs (the number of eps on each DVD, that is). I've GOT it taped off on a VHS tape, but the DVD version is SOOOO much better and clearer! So I, for one, am not even THINKING about complaining about reruns! I NEED 'em for my home-recorded/burned (whatever) DVDs! So I say, bring 'em on!!! Heh.;)
Heh, peace, y'all.
I'd like to see "Mikey's Christmas Rescue" too... as well as several eps I missed this season. Reruns are not a bad thing... that's how I caught the first ep of the original TMNT cartoon show.

Is it too much to ask for a little TMNT cartoon fix? In my professional opinion, cartoons are essential for the maintenance of a healthy neuropsychological state. Donny, help me out here. Oh wait... you're not real...
PS
Sorry, Turtle Dove. My evil nature gets the better of me sometimes. :tevil:

The Reruns Are Essential Seeing That We Get A New Season Around October, And For Them To Run All 26 Episodes Straight Means A Longer Break In The Long Run. We Would Have To Wait From March To October For A New Episode If They Ran All 26 Straight. Its Better To Get Shorter Breaks In The Middle So That We Dont Have To Endure A Longer, Grueling Stretch With Out Them.
And Its Also Fair For Those Who Missed Them. They Should Have A Chance To Watch Them Again. And For The People Who Dont Tape The Episodes Its Cool For Them To Watch The Repeats Since Its Been So Long.
As For Me, I Just Turn Back To Season 1 And 2 And Watch All Those Episodes Since Ive Had Time To Forget About Them.
One More Thing About Repeats Is That You Tend To Learn More From Them. Where As In A New Episode You Really Just Concentrate On The New Stuff (plot/story) You See And Not As Much In Details.
We Should Be Happy We Are 14 Episode Into Our 1st Repeat And Like Others Have Said, Its Better Then Other Toons Out There (The Batman, Loonatics).

Smallville, TMNT, and Surface in reruns. Are they seriously trying to kill me here? :o
Meanwhile Im having to DL eps of Stargate Atlantis since new eps are only airing in Canada. ARGH!! Thank the gods House, Bones, and Ghost Whisperer aren't in reruns. phew!

It's only fair... they're behind the US airing schedule for half the season even though SG is filmed in Vancouver. Up unil now I think they've always been behind.
Heh... kind of off-topicking here.
I wonder if seeing the TMNT reruns will change my perspective on the shows I have seen... I'm one of those people who don't tape the shows and down own the DVDs.

Bad news, folks. I just check Yahoo!TV's listings, and the rerun scheduled for the 24th is "The People's Choice", NOT "The Christmas Aliens" ("Mikey's Christmas Rescue"). Which is GOOD for me, as I get to get ANOTHER Season 4 ep burned off in order, but STILL! I really wanted the Christmas ep to air the 24th myself. I love watching it. Ah, well, I've got it taped, so I'll just watch it AFTER I either "burn" "Peple's Choice" off, OR after I get back from the library. Whichever I feel like, I guess.;)
Peace.

Weird how we missed the same episode. That was when a football game was on instead of Turtles. I'm gald I'll actually get to see it instead of it bein' replaced by a football game. The only down side is I won't be reviewin' any episodes for quite a while.

GAH?! Tranquilize... Sheesh. You're very coldhearted.
I myself am not too upset about the reruns. I'm totally psyched about finally getting to see People's Choice. I just bought the comic for it, so I'm waiting to see the show comparison!

Hey, What happened to the episode with "megalo" Don, You know the monstrous Donatello they showed in the preview? I was just curious because they never did show Mikey with Vampire fangs like they did in season three's preview. Not that I recall anyway. lol. I remember how all the speculation about that being Slash was bouncing around at the time.
