I'm not sure what to think, yet.

Looks like they'll be taking the new Blue Beetle down a darker path. I guess they want to stay as far away from the Giffen-era "funny Beetle" as possible. I just hope they don't try too hard to be different and we end up with someone utterly unlikeable.

I'll give the on-going a good try once it hits. Some character revamps work (Kyle Rayner) while others fail miserably (spanish Wildcat). Hopefully this will be the former.

This may be the coolest looking character in a long time!

I never liked the blue beatle until after reading countdown to infinte crisis, I really felt sorry for the guy, so I'll probably pick up the first issue to see whats going with the new guy.

The irony is that the hispanic Wildcat debuted in the original Crisis

Keith is behind the new Beetle, and he made Kord a memorable addirion to his classic JLA, and reinvigorated him for the 90's, so I hope he pulls it off with a darker version.

Ive heard mixed reviews. Ive heard people say it looks like a robot. others say a weird looking ted kord suit.

the only thing im really interested in with this book is the powers. i remember reading that garrett could fly and had super strength. so im sure that will carry over to this new beetle as well. well.. i dont know. i would like to see it carried over.

I Like didn't know much about Ted until Infinite crisis one. I like the guy but it sucks that he had to die. all those strong hero's and no one helped him. He shouldn't have gone alone.

It's too modern and flashy. It's not as simple as the old one.

oh, i hear what you mean.. i think for the most part it is a simple design. that backpack thing looks a tad odd though.
