This is Non TMNT related. I have to ask this cause my sister and mother been whining.
If you met a girl who was into TMNT,JL,Transformers, etc Star WArs you name it.....and had Boxs of the toys. Would you marry her and LET her keep her collection?

Anyone who insists their significant other throw away something he/she has been avidly collecting for years (without a really valid reason like, sh*t, bankruptcy or your girlfriend collects the bloody kneecaps of her former victims) isn't the sort of mate you really want.

I may sound selfish but I don't know IF i want to marry. I don't know if I want to marry and have to commint like that. Plus kids?.....some kids would whine and want stuff..I have this fear of having kids and they wanting stuff, and I'm forced to give up my stuff.
:o I can't let that happen

Then don't marry, and don't have kids.
Where's it say you *have* to marry, and you *have* to have kids...?
****, I don't plan on ever marrying, and I sure as hell don't want kids.

Marriage isn't as tough as it sounds, if you've got the right person by your side. I never really intended to get married myself, but I've been married for about three and a half years, and I don't have any kids nor any desire to have some any time soon. So my personal responsibility isn't any tougher now than it was when I was single.
But if ya throw kids into that equation, oh hell naw. I still feel like too much of a kid myself to ever seriously think about having kids.

I would hit the Muscle Buster on the chick and make her tap with the Stryklock.
THEN! i would steal her collection and ride into the sunset with my faithful companion Jethro...the dolphin.

Exactly. My words exactly.

:o I can't let that happenYou know i think alot of people feel that way about kids before they actually have them. But once you have one then everything changes. What once seemed significant becomes insignificant and the little things that once seemed so insignificant are the things that become most important.

You know, back in the day when I dated Jill the Ripper, I thought alike. I never said anything about the kidneys she brought home, I never said anything about the blood on her clothes, I never said anything about the collection of organs in her fridge, but in the end, her cooking skills totally ruined our relationship. Besides, she had a sort of very unhealthy obsession with knives.

If you're not ready to give stuff up for your kids, then, for everything that is sacred, don't get kids! I mean, sure they want stuff, they're kids, just like you want your stuff. And if you're not ready to give them what they want sometimes, then you'd be a bad parent to begin with. Being able to give stuff up is one of the things that makes a good parent.

You lucky son of a..........*ahem* uh.....very nice motherly...uhh, person.
If I ever found a gamer girl who loved me for who I am, I'd marry her in a Sonic Second, but before that would happen, hell would have to freeze over and hell's angels would have to sing a round of Joy to the World while passing the bottle.
Let's face it, I'm never gettin laid. Nope. Never.

If coming to this forum has taught me anything...its that i am not as wierd as I once thought myself. So, chin up guys, girls like us DO exist....and Ladies, if a guy loves you, he will not worry about your quirks. Mine sure didn't :)

I'd do my best to keep my collectibles away from my kids if I ever have any. I'd even have to prevent 'em from scribbiln' in my comic books. I don't even have a girlfriend and I know how much of a reponsibilty that can be. It'd be nice to find a girl that shares the same intrests as I do or at least approves of 'em. Heck, she might even be curious about my action figures and comic books. That would be an answer to my prayers. It makes me wonder if when I get a girlfriend that she'll start a new hobby (cuz of my influnence) such as readin' comic books and graphic novels.
