Its hard to say that one of the turtles could win a fight without help from the rest but I have to say the donnie is the best...you can not win without him. he just needs something sharp at the end of his stick

And maybe they could win some fights without the other turtles, but i doubt it, they work best as a team.

oh and Mike took on the Shredder by himself on the episode where Baxter first makes the mousers.....so I think they can do well on their own if the animators animate them doing well and the writers write them doing well.......

Probably because the foot outnumbered him, at least that's what happened in the first movie...specially after seeing that i was sure they work best as a team :ohwell:
I voted for Leo but only because i'm not sure who ralph is. By the way why is this in general discussion?

Don could beat Leo any day. See leo never kills anyone with his swords becuse he leaves them somewhere....but Don kicks butt with his stick...ofcourse Don beats Leo!!! Duky

By Ralph i think me meant Raph...and i agree that leo could beat up don, i just think he's more skilled in battle, don is smarter tho, and he could put up a good fight anyways.
But yeah, this should be in general tmnt discussion. :D

yeah.....just watch the first few eps Will, you will see that Leo always cleans his sword blades........this is a sign that says "Come close to me Donnie and you are one dead turd in my books!!!!!" so yeah, Donnie would never mess with Leo and his skills

Leo does not want his blade to be rusty, so he cleans it...because he doesn't kill anyone. If he didnt clean his swords then he would have orange swords.

Depends on a fight. In the issues I have read so far, Only Raph has beten really many enemies alone. In "Return to New York" He beat around 20 foot.

Yah...I think there were less than 20 in the movie, tho they were still quite a bunch...well, maybe raph got beaten up in the movie because he was on a bad mood...but then again, it's usually the only mood he's in :goofygri:

Mike and Leo are the best fighters. Raph's anger and recklessness is what would cost him in the end regardless of any physical skill. And Donatello's lack of physical talent (compared to his brothers) and insistence on 'thinking' everything out would impair him as well.

yes, that 'berserker' deal works somewhat well against relatively unskilled fighters....... especially when you have raph's level of natural physical strength and speed. but, look what happened when he went against really good fighters, the shredder elite,...... he almost got killed.

Illogically I'd have to say Raphael because he is my favorite Turtle period.
Yes, he did get thrashed in the first movie. Yes his methods are impulsive
and rushed. However, he does handle himself well on his own when he doesn't lose his temper... i. e. he kicked those ninjas butts on the rooftop well. He might have won had more ninjas not shown up. He did manage to infiltrate the ninjas headquarters in II well enough.
His anger has a good fuel for his fight, but ultimately he really needs his bros to help him.
Logically, I'd have to say Leonardo. He is cool and keeps a level head. He's organized and knows how to keep his brothers in line. He is a master with the swords and obviously took Splinter's lessons to heart.
I think if he'd just stayed focused, he could have kicked Shredder's butt on the roof. He was the only Turtle that seemed to be putting up a difficult fight
for Shredder. If he'd just stayed focused, he might have won.

Leo uses his swords all of the time...........he cleans them..........then intimidates with them.........cleans them............buffs them..........*WIELDS THEM* KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! and thats pretty much it, but he can flip out any time he wants to......thats what ninjas are supposed to do.

Leonardo is also overtly conventional and rule-driven, a serious barrier to spontaneous flowing adaptability........

In the movie, the only turtle to injure Shredder was Leonardo. In their true form, the mirage comic, the only turtle in the rooftop battle to injure shredder one on one was Leo and Mike.

I believe he has broken a sword with his sai in the Mirage comic at least once. Technically, ninja never used the sai (it was an Okinawan weapon)... but they did (along with some samurai) utilize a similar weapon called a jitte.

I know you are joking here...... but both Raph and Mike are stronger and faster than Leo, and Mike is more skilled/talented. As for the katanas, it depends on the person using them, not the weapons themselves.

I liek Donatello, because he makes the coolest machines, I hope he makes 1000's in the new show like he did in the old...He isn't too skilled at fighting cause he puts most of his time and effort into fixing machines and building them...which I am glad of!! :wink:

Well in the new cartoon looks like he built the vehicles you can see in the official site :D so i hope he creates some machines too.

Yea, sorry, I meant machines AND vehicles, that was one of the fun parts of the show which they need to bring back.... :)
