Anyone play this?

I got it for Christmas, and I can't say that I'm displeased. It seems very wide open. And the levels are huge. I thought it would be corny with the weapons, but its actualy pretty cool. I haven't seen many vehicles, but it doesnt matter.

How many endings are there, if anyone knows? Just 3?

Iv'e rented it..and well....Not my favorite game. I just hate where they've taken all the Sonic games...and this really was..to me...an even bigger step back

Maybe if it was another franchise id have a higher opinion for it...lol...but as it is, i disliked it.

I'll stick with Sonic Rush DS.

i really don't i feel it's basicaly got the same gameplay value as Sonic Heroes and not much has changed except weapons, cars and Shadow is the main character

but as that old saying goes, each to their own :P

Well, honestly, there's nothing worse than Sonic Heroes in my book. That game needs to burn in hell very slowly. I find Shadow more akin to Sonic Adventure 2 but with more "good" levels. Yeah, the story is sh*t though, and I find Shadow's "badassness" more funny than actually cool. They try too hard. Sonic never had to try this hard to be cool, which is why he'll always blow the sh1t out of Shadow. All Sonic ever had to do is stand there, tap his foot, and look at you like he knew he was better than you. That's badass. Shadow riding a Harley? Three words...l...o...l.

At least all that Maria sh1t is done. Frankly, I found the game pleasntly suprising. The gameplay was far better than I had been led to believe (bite me IGN). It wasn't special or anything, but still damn good for what it is. I find that damn Sonic Adventure engine to be aging fast though. THe clipping and "falling off a cliff for no reason" stuff is a bit better, but I still find myself plumeting into nothing-ness regularly. One thing is for certain though. They finally fixed the damn camera issues. FINALLY. That alone made the experience far more enjoyable in my book. Still, that engine has got to go. It's old. Real old. Can it. So far that new Sonic game on 360, PS3, and hopefully Revolution is looking better, although slower. I hope that changes, but hey, it's way early. Still, KILL THE SONIC ADVENTURE ENGINE. It has officially ended it's welcome.

Either way though, this game was still much better than I was expecting, and I am enjoying it. But Shadow's "Look at me! I'm cooler than Sonic cuz I gots a gun" crap isn't working. Stop it Sega. Oh, and the gun is wothless. Just ignore them and play it SA2 style and all is well.

Probably the worst game I've ever bought next to "JEDI POWER BATTLES". All the endings are just copies of each other, so nothing's different. And, of course, you have one ultra super mega ending, but after you beat the game once (if you get that far before returning it), you'll realize that it's just a big waste of time.

ookaayy umm well... the beginning didnt make very much sense. Normally someone would flip out if aliens started falling from the sky. he was just all like.. 'dumbasses'. then the alien dude showed up and he was just like "wtf how do you knoiw im shadow", but THEN he goes "well if the guy has the answers to my past i gotta do this ****". mr alien dude never said that o-O
then it jumps into EXPLOSIONS-O! argh. xD iots supposed to be like, "..heres how you win" like in sa/sa2. and the switch-a-roo thingy between bad good quest things sucks. it keeps switching back to good on its own. >.<

and shadow was cool BEFORE the gun and motorcycle and **** ;-; they ruined hiiimmmm

but the animation is awesome in the beginnig o-o

The Motorcycle and gun stuff is so damn cheezy. I like the heavier language though. Hope they keep it. But the cheezy harley? Honestly, if he's supposed to be as fast as Sonic, why the fu*k ride a motorcycle? Pointless.

That reminds me.

On my Sega Dreamcast, Hyper Shadow was last seen jumping into a giant firey ball in space. In the begining of the game, you see him standing there, with Sonic instantly recognizing him. A big WTF.

But yeah, if aliens started falling from the sky, I would totally ninja flip out and kill people.
