Let's Discuss All Of The Characters On The New Show Shall We?

OK so This was bound to happen I got this and that about my opinions on things.
So I've gone and done it made a list of just about every important character to this new show to me anyway. So now let's Discuss it and you tell me if your with me or against me on my opinions I mean no being just being an all out jerk give me valid reasons because I honestly think I have. But I can provide more if need be : D

Leonardo - Even if I hated all his grumpyness he is a million times better then Any incarnation of leonardo we have ever had besides the movies.
Raphael - The Best Hands Down This to me Is the Mirage Raphael animated great stuff But I'm a fan of raph he's my second fave turtle of all time.
Michaelangelo - You know I'm still not sure how much I like him in this new show I've never been big on him but hey I hate surfer dudes....soo yea...he's ok though I am torn between old school mike and movie mike mostly.
Donatello - That's my boy! growing up he was always my fave turtle out of the 4 I love this don I love every version of donatello even the next mutation.
Master Splinter - oddly enough the thing about him that bothers me is his color he has always been brown in every incarnation of himself...so why make him gray it just bothers me.....the voice and character are amazing on this show I love that splinter is so much more involved then he was in any other tmnt thing ever it really helped soften the blow of splinters death in the mirage comics also.
Shredder - You know I don't really know how to feel towards this new shredder I like him allot but I don't at the same time it's cool that they went way out in left field and made him a Utrom But I loved the aspect that shredder has always been human....but on the other hand him be a Utrom connects everything together more....so like I said I'm torn but I love his voice and Design.
April - Love her It's the paril whith the brains and life of her own that I've always wanted and the design of her is beautiful to without her being to sluty.....and I love the fact that she and Casey are starting to fall in love.
Her voice is almost like the old show to me kinda so not much of a big differnce there.
Casey Jones - great design body and un mask wise....but mask wise I don't much care for his new mask...I always liked his pointy skull looking mask but perhaps thats because I grew up with it......I like his voice allot it's always how I thought his voice should sound not like dirty harry like in the old toon lol......I also love that he's in the show almost all the time now he's been given so much depth even if I hate the fact that they've made him a complete bumbling moron at times....
Baxter Stockman - this is the baxter stockman I can't stand the old shows baxter never liked him man or fly......this one has been through so much and keep coming back time and again I love him seriously I hope he stays around for a long time.
The Purple Dragons - Good Street Gang there differnt now not sure if I like the change yet I really was digging there old look they seems kind of generic looking now....
The Foot Soldiers - I love there design allot more so then the old show but just like the old show I want to see more from them talking interaction between them and Karai and the tmnt.
Hun - I hated this guy at first I really thought shredder should of had a better right hand man/ henchman then hun....he was a chump and just a big brute.....but now that shredders gone he's grown leaps and bound hell he was even changing in episodes like hun on the run....great stuff....I also like the ripped open trench coat he wears now nice touch by the designers.....
The Tmnt (character) Kids - This I freaking love The tmnt themselves hun, casey, seriously I want more kid stories of everyone even maybe some younger splinter stories, or april or baxter! I want to note I hated the kid tmnt in the old show they annoyed me allot.
The NanoBot Monster - greatest monster on this show yet. I love this character and you know what I don't know why I just felt bad for him.....
could also have something to do with him sounding like Gir from invader Zim when he yells lol
Harry the Grifter - I love this guy he'd fit right in batman the animated series lol I hope he breaks out of jail soon.
The Guardians - I don't like these are the first of the flat boring characters I'm talking about.....unless they come back any time soon. They are also big Matrix rip offs.....

Angel - I just don't like her.....I can't even freaking tell what nationality the kid is her brother is white like really whire bread looking lol she looks what like Latino or something....strangeness......I know it's an odd comparison but Zack the turtles kid friend from the old show was so much better.....I hope we do see more of angel though.....I mean hell it was lame we didn't even get to see her in the future episode.
Garbageman - He is lame I agree with you there see but thing is he doesn't have to be if given a really good back story he could just be another cool mutnant/monster hell I don't even know what he is lol....
The Homeless Professor - The guy rocks end of story he needs to be used in the show more
The Homeless people - the people need to interact with the tmnt in sort of a spawn like way I would really love that....
Mike as Turtle Titan - I want to see more of this....it's not being used enough
Silver Sentry - lame lame lame and oh did I mention lame....another flat boring character....
Dr. Malignus - Amazing super villian design shame he was captured in his only apperance we will more than likely never see him again....there for leaving me to give this character the title of one hit wonder....
Mutant Monsters (Quarry, Razorfist and Stonebiter & others) - I hate them all these are the mutants of the new show they are boring flat and have a terrable character design. they have been cured and we will prolly never see them again....and thats just fine by me....on to better characters...
Mysterious Entity - ooo aint I spooky lol uh how bout now...next...lame
Elite Guard - A+ for having them in the show even if the next mutation toy was way better hehe...also love the fact that they speak.
The Police - I love that they are on the show allot makes the show really real!
Dr. Abigail Finn - LAME do I even need to explain myself on her......
The Shredder Clones - great stuff better in the comics made more sence as well but hey I'd like to see more clones like this in the future....
Mob Boss, Weasel, The Mob - I like the mob allot only way they could make the boss better is if he was a big gorilla hahahah and yes I'm serious....I liked Silver in the next mutation I'm pretty sure it's also the same voice actor.
Utroms - some are ok some arn't there like people can't like em all lol
Mr. Mortu - great character I hope we haven't seen the last of him...
Fugitoid - he's always been great glad he's in the show even if his voice and lines in this show are very C-3P0ish lol
General Blanque - same as the comic so he's ok with me.
Commander Mozar - same as the comic so he's ok with me.
Traximus - he hasn't been around enough for me to really like him but when he was with raph at the battle nexus he was cool I liked that.
Ultimate Ninja - you know when he first was on the show I thought he was really lame besides his character design I liked that allot.....he's since gotten allot cooler in the battle nexus and so on...and now he's a kid which is a cool idea him being given a second chance at life...
Gyoji - I really like him and still want a toy of him very badly!
Ultimate Daimyo - I don't know what it is about him he bores me and just a flat character to me....I do though think I would like to know more about him.
Leatherhead - I love his design very much like that of the mirage comics which I have always liked better then the old show....I also like his new voice allot better then the old show but I have to say it's still not as gruff as I think it should be.....
Turtlebot - what a pitty amazing could have been made into a great story but was waisted in one episode...amazing design though!
Karai - you have no idea how much I have always loved this character and for her to be animated is so amazing I always thought tmnt 3 the movie should have been city at war with karai it would have worked out so much better.....
Dragon Face - I like him but he's not used enough I wonder what most of those old purple dragon members are doing now since hun kicked them out.
Karai's aide's - I liked them now they are gone....so I am left to say flat boring characters....sad but true nothing behind them they came and went like that....
Zog - I always loved the idea of a good Triceraton and we had it in the comic and in the show I like the mirage version look wise more but his story in the show is even better....it's such a shame he had to die...but he did have to there was no doubt about that.....
The Justice Force - some people may think them to be lame but I have always liked this issue of the comic book....I still can't believe we haven't seen more of these characters yet even toys...but playmates is very slow these days it seems with the character figures....
Drako - I just don't like him he's one of those flat characters I was talking about cool design but he should be on like dragonball z or some thing like that.
Dark Ninja Assassins - great characters there like foot soldiers but way better trained Karai needs some of these guys lol!
Usagi Yojimbo & Gen - love them both Usagi is way better then he was on the old show infact the old one is quite annoying compaired to this one if you think about it.....I love how he has become so close to the tmnt...and I love then Gen was made intro rocksteady for a split second these two are great together and I would watch them if they had there own show whats not to love!
Klunk the cat - liked him in the comic hate the cartoon version...
The Triceratons - obviously way better then in the old show....only thing better to the ones in the show is obviously the mirage and image comics versions to me...
Bishop - this guy is pure evil man I love him every time theres a Bishop episode I get excited even if his basic design is a huge rip off of other things..
Mr. Touch & Mr. Go - I like them even if there character design is a bit lame and looks like other characters I want to see more of them and learn about them more...
Mrs. Morrison - I want to see raph talk to her more that was a very touching moment in the show.
Nobody - he's ok I liked him allot more in the mirage comics though...
Chaplin - I like the kid he reminds me of a new version of the old toon baxter stockman but where has he gone...I hope hes in prison going insane and busts out for revenge on the turtles...
C. F. Volpehart - great character for a one shop very creepy!
Lava Monsters - very cool stuff reminds me of scooby doo lol or even the old show...
Renet - I haven't seen her yet since this episode was missed her in los angeles when it aired....
Lord Simultaneous - saw him once and hated his voice it ruined that character big time...
Cousin Sid - I liked that episode but he's a blah character I honestly hope we never see him again....
Raptarr - really lame I don't like him in the comic and he's even worse in the show....
The Soldier Mutant - really like this guy because of his back story I felt really bad for him the story was great and I'm sure we haven't seen this last of this guy...I just wish his design was allot better...
The Rat King - I hate myself for saying this but I dislike the way this new rat king acts he has always been so wacko in every comic version I loved his old voice this new one is fine though and the new character design of him rotting is great....just wish he'd freaking speak more! that's all maybe next time we see him he won't just laugh though...
Kluh - I love this guy have since the battle nexus even if he is a big old hulk and maul from the wild cats rip off lol
The King of Thieves - he was great just like he was in the comic...it's funny but I honestly hope this isn't the last we've seen of this guy but I'm sure it is.
The Ancient One - this is by far the worst character ever he is worse than any bebop or rocksteady could ever be he's a very racist mockery of asian people....and his constant farting didn't help either I wanted Leonardo to cut his head off lol.

Ok So there you have it folks my run down and thoughts of everyone on the show up till the last episode...

I agree with you on most characters, with a few exceptions of course (can't have 2 entirely same opinions).

I liked the old April O'Neil a lot more, mainly the look of her.

I hate every superhero appearance in the show - Silver Sentry, Justice Force ect. I mean ok, we have mutants, we have aliens, that's ok, they are the main characters, but when superheroes start flying around in the city, something is wrong in my humble opinion.

As for Dragonface, I kinda like him too, but I liked way better the leader of the small group of Purple Dragons in the first episode, Things Changed. It was the guy with the cyan hair. Sadly, the way the episode ended tells me that we'll never see him again ;)

Looks like I misjudged you, I agree with most of your points(though, the super heroes are alright with me, Huns cool in my book, and I like this new version of the Rat King).

Re: The Shredder - Whilst I don't dislike the idea of The Shredder being an Utrom, which seems to tie in very well with the story line, I do very much dislike the idea that he does not rely on his ninja skills to conquer his enemies. He is essentially a robot in my eyes, not relying on his own strength to fight. As a result, the respect I once had for him is no longer there. I would have much preferred it if he could essentially fight as a human but retain his Utrom background by either a) being mutated into a human from his Utrom form, since he hates being an Utrom so much, or b) having a human body constructed for him that could be merged with his Utrom body which was a permanent transition (as discussed in the other thread "Possible alterations/improvements"). That's part of the reason why I didn't like Season 3 as much as the first two seasons, and also why I didn't like SAINW very much either. Oh well...

Re: Splinter - I like him being grey, because rats are usually grey anyway. I think he looks cool.

Re: Hun - I thought this guy was possibly the best lackey The Shredder has ever had. He's intelligent, a very strong fighter, a very loyal underling yet a great leader at the same time. How could you not like this character. Beats Bebop and Rocksteady hands down.

Rat's are all colors not just grey to be honest when I think of rats I think of black ones....
and yea like I said I disliked hun at first because I thought he was just a big dumb oaf but now he's so much more which is great :)

I'm a bit behind on the series, since I follow it on DVD, and haven't gotten "Turtles Against HATE" yet, but here's what I'd say so far:

I think the foot soldiers are just a bit too goony. They seldomly speak, and when they do, it's just stuff like "huh?" and "we have an intruder" type stuff (and I'm not even sure I've heard them speak that much). They lack personality. And most of 'em are the exact same size. I'd like to see some more diversity and personality in the foot soldier department. The TMNT should kidnap a foot soldier, tie him up, pull his mask off and force him to speak. Then do the same thing to another foot soldier, just to see if there's any difference.

The foot mystics look like teletubbies with portable jungle huts. Don't like 'em. Plus, I'm annoyed by the idea that they represent the "five elements", which are supposedly earth, wind, fire, water, and friggin' METAL. The Japanese Go Dai elements were earth, wind, fire, water and VOID. Not bloody metal.

Hun's great. He didn't start out great, but he's great. And he's really devoted. He truly loves his master. I loved his reaction when he found out about the shredder being an Utrom, and this far I'm liking the turn the character is taking after that.

Baxter Stockman is, well, Baxter Stockman. He's annoying, but that's part of what makes him so great. I mean, he's a brain, an eye and half a spine, and he's still full of himself. Gotta love that Stockman. And he balances on the thin line between nihilism and self-loathing. Plus he's such a push-over. Though it's probably about time he died soon. He's starting to get just a little bit too annoying.

Angel has potential to become interesting. She just needs time to evolve as a character.

The homeless people rock, indeed, and all the superheroes (Silver Sentry, Stainless Steel Steve, et.c.) suck. I know Laird loves 'em, but whatchagonnado. Even the great ones can have poor judgment sometimes. I don't like the idea of superheroes in a world of ninjas. It just doesn't go together. Alright, OK, Daredevil, and yeah, a Daredevil/TMNT crossover would be neat, since they're tied together in the origin story, but apart from that, I think superheroes should stay the shell away from TMNT. At least the kind that flies around in bright tights.

The Shredder clones didn't make sense. Ch'rell's an Utrom. The clones weren't.

I have one thing to say about the Daimyo, and that is that a mistake has been made. First, he was one character, and then in the Return of the Ultimate Ninja arc, it was like they hade replaced him with a completely different character. He just wasn't the same guy. And I don't mean like "oh, since his son disappeared, he just hasn't been the same". I mean like he was not even a remotely similar character anymore. Everything he did and said was completely out of character.

I hope Dragon Face will return in some form. Perhaps as a stronger villain, or perhaps as a vigilante, trying to get vengeance on Hun. Either way, I'd like to see him again, but not without some character development.

Drako / Ultimate Ninja / Ultimate Drako: Lame.

Bishop started out as a very uninteresting character, but I think he's getting better and better with every appearance. Now, I'd say he's great.

Mrs. Morrison would indeed be nice to see again.

Chaplin will turn into a fly. Trust me. I have sources;)

The Rat King is bloody great, and don't you bloody say anything different! He shouldn't speak too much. A little bit of talking now and then is fine, but he needs to maintain his mystery. Some characters just need to do that. Just look at Joss Whedon's "Angel". Once that guy started talking too much, he became boring. Same thing about Batman. He's way cooler when he shuts the fudge up than when he's endlessly babbling about his batphone, batcomputer, batarang, shark-repellent bat-spray and such. Ofcourse, both Angel (Joss Whedon's character - not the one on TMNT) and Batman are good guys, but bad guys work the same way. Some of them are cooler when they don't speak, and I'd say the Rat King is one of those. Ofcourse, he shouldn't stay quiet. He should start talking, but just not yet. He needs a period of quiet time to build up mystery first.

I just can't picture as a Lilac.:lol: Course I once judged a Lilac rat at a rat show named Donatello. He had brothers too... Leonardo (a Russian blue), Michelangelo (yea he was orange..) and Raphael (Agouti...which kinda looks reddish). Yea....somebody was a TMNT fan for sure. *L*

Now as for Splinter's coloring....he appears to me to be more of a blue agouti. Basically greyish in colour with specks of blue in the fur. Altho you can't really tell from the coloring on the toon.

First Agouti I ever got was a blue agouti I named Splinter (we called him Yoshi tho).
