I highly doubt Don turning into a monster = evil. Perhaps he'll get something more like what Leatherhead had... that primal rage. Though I do hope it's temporary. The event it's based on in the comics has not been reversed yet, to my understanding. (I don't have the ability/money to go out and get comics... so I read the synopses at the site. My apologies if this is wrong.)

The Foot Mystics probably had something to do with that. Since they were able to tap into the Turtles mind earlier in the season. Got the intelligence they needed to find the lair. But the real question is will the Turtles be looking for a new lair now?

After seeing this, with no apparent Leo present, I have to wonder if Episode 100 is his return to New York. I mean, its obvious he can't be gone just for a couple days.. a trip to Japan takes a long time, especially with what he's doing.

So, maybe we won't see Leo again until ep 100? Who knows... what's everyone's thoughts on this?

I actually really thought there would be no leo even before that previewed aired. Something catostrophic has to happen if they are going to use more rat king influenced episodes. I only say that based on the assumption he is going to return before the season ends. If it stays true to the comic, Splinter gets seperated from the turtles and has his own rat king encounter. The seperation could occur through something like thissince the city at war arch already occurred. An ambush by Karai possibly.
It is likely she used the foot mystics to determine wether or not Leo was there, I think she has been just watching and waiting.
But I wonder one thing. Is Leo going to come back to something horrible like a wrecked lair or will he come in and be the one to save the day. I'd persoanlly would like to see a face off against Karai in the Shredder suit. Only wouldn't it be crazy if he didn't find out it was her until the fight was over?...

I was thinking they should hold off on bring him back for at least a few eppy's. It would be an incredibly long trip on a boat none the less. I think we also all need to see what is happening in New york. I personally think Leo will come back to a complete mess. He may even have to round up his family if that is a real attack on the lair. I dunno if he will be gone till 100 but I think things could be really messy up at least until then. They have had so many unrelated episodes this season that we are definitely overdue for a continuos arch.

This episode sounds like it'll be a good way to star off the rest of the season. I can hardly wait for it cuz we've all been waitin' a long time for it to start up again. I just hope this episode disappoint cuz it wouldn't get a good review from me. I haven't seen the preview and I don't think it'll work on my computer. That screen cap that Masked Ninja posted looks like it's specific enough for me to figure out what'll happen. I'm glad that Leo probably won't show up cuz I think he should stay in Japan for a couple more episdes and then come back. A few episodes of Leo in Japan could make a difference of his fightin' style for when he returns home.

Yet another (posible) allusion to SaiNW....Shredder refrenced the Prodigal Son when Donatello suddenly re-appeared after being gone for 30 years. All of this is so eriely simmilar maybe that's what triggers Donnie's change.

Matthew Broderick did the normal voice for both movies 1 and 2. Joseph Williams did the singing voice in the original movie. Cam Clarke did Simba's singing voice in TLK2, and was his regular voice for the Timon and Pumbaa show. I found out about Cam Clarke's role within the last year, and needless to say I was tickled.

But back on topic... *hit with shoes*

Since it's clear that the Lair is gonna get found and trashed, I have to say I can't wait to see how they do it. This is gonna be a seriously awesome epsiode, and I hope we get to see some of their best fight choreography/animation for it. And it's only Monday! :cry:

I'm glad that Leo probably won't show up cuz I think he should stay in Japan for a couple more episdes and then come back. A few episodes of Leo in Japan could make a difference of his fightin' style for when he returns home.

I have a feeling Leo will be back sooner than anyone expects. I just checked Yahoo's TV Guide, and the ep-title listed for Feb. 11th reads, "Prodigal Son". So I'm thinking Leo will be back then. But I could be wrong; I HAVE been known to be.;) :lol:

actully it's an idea Kevin & Peter have had for a long time but it really was a big deal in the red sky old school episodes....they even planed on a movie about the next mutation....not like the tv show but about the idea of the tmnt mutating more...

Oh yeah, I read that on Blast from the Past. Don was supposed to have telepathic and telekenetic powers, Leo would be able to turn his skin into an unbreakable substance, Mikey could make himself look human, and Raph and Splinter could mutate into beast-like forms of themselves.

Anyway, I read on one website, a rumor on how this episode will play out, and it sounds very plausable. After I read it, I pissed a little in anticipation.
