The mini's are cute, but I was hoping they would be more like the Marble Shooter mini Turtles. Those guys are adorable :)

Hm... by looking at the size of those 12" Turtles, I hope that they aren't TOO expensive...
But a big bonus for updating their site. I've been noticing alot more lately that they are updating quite a bit.

True, except it looked to just be about the 3 inch figures. This covers everything else.
But I thought the background pics for the animated series was really quite impressive. The sewers really actually LOOK like sewers! I like the play of colors, light and dark... and look! Int he monotr room, there is a box of pizza there! See... they do still eat the stuff (just not in the old, rabid consumption)
The city scapes where cool too. Full moon effect as well as all the detail on the buildings. Feels so much more like New York City from what I seen in the pictures, it does!

And I like the Idea of New and Old Lair. It means they do move, but not to aprils it seems.

They might do it the way they did it in the second movie; have the turtles live with April for a little while before searching for a new lair.

Could be.

"guyest" it was supposed to be gayest. My bad if i offended anyone i just think they are absolutely useless.

they obviously put little to no effort in making the minis, cause the 5 inch and 12 inch resemble the new toon to a tee, but those minis looked like shrunken versions of the first ever turtle figures.

You should not triple post here. If you have something to say, keep it in one post.

The second post was just to correct himself (when he should've used the edit button).
As for the third time, once in awhile people will forget to bring up a point when they have the chance so they'll add on to it. But as I said before, that's why the edit button always comes in handy.

I wish there was a way you could edit e-mail you've sent when you realize they had a typo on them somewhere. I noticed one I made when posting to TMNT-L and it really bugs me when I do that. Geez, why am I so anal-retentive?! :trolleye:

The backgrounds look really well done. It reminds of the Jackie Chan Adventure ones..maybe because they are the same artists :D .

I think the backgrounds in JCA suck. But the TMNT ones are quite exquisite.
Karpo_007
12-24-2002, 02:31 PM
I haven't watched JCA, but the new TMNT backrounds looks good.
Yeah, JCA backgrounds were very rough, stylized, almost like that had adults doing the animation, then had their kids come in and make the backgrounds. It was kinda cool, since it meant more detail focus on the people and important objects.
The new TMNT backgrounds actually look like scenery, not "filler" background.

If you think of watching JCA for the fights, check out the first season. They were much better animated than the second season.

True. It's same thing with Jet LI.

12-26-2002, 09:23 AM

He would probably hurt his back... And yeah Jet Li is not as old, but he too did his best movies in the 80's.

12-26-2002, 11:22 AM
I thoght chans movies are more action packed and have a good plot, Li's don't go watch Black Mask and see what i mean
Raphael

If you wanna see a good Chan flick, rent out Drunken Master. It's one of his best.
