VH1's I love the 80's was well worth not leaving my hosue at night all weekTell that to 90% of the populace at my school...they all hate the 80s. It's the 60s that they like. If you mention 80s to them, they'll call you a freak. Kinda funny if you think of it, since that's the decade that all the students there were born in.

The reason people will call you a freak if you like the 80s is cause they'll think of any reason to call you different and annoy you. it's a common fact among people, if a person is in anyway different they are harassed. Stupid people, we are a horrible species, this planet is gonna be destroyed because of our stupidity.

I got such a kick out of that part where he says who each member of the group was based off of.

Oh, and I loved how the girl from The Cosby Show told the story of the TMNT (she didn't have all of the facts, but atleast she knew who they were)

Heh...that was just on again. Really, though, TMNT has really nothing in common with NSYNC. Heck, NSYNC actually has *five* members.
Ironically even though the turtles are fictional characters, they probably have about 10 times more personality than the flesh and blood NSYNC. :D

I just watched the re-airing of "I Love the 80s: 1988" with the Ninja Turtles. And I must say, that was that coolest thing I've seen on TV in a long time. It was great to see the Turtles on television again.

Who cares that they got the clips mixed up? I don't - most were from 1990 or later, even though the Turtles are supposed to represent the 80s.

I didn't like how each of the Turtles were compared with members of N'SYNC, however; two completely different entities which should never be mentioned in the same sentence.

I also didn't like Judith Gold: "Thank God it's over"? What's that all about? Who is she to run down the greatest cartoon of all time? Who is she, period?

But I very much enjoyed seeing the Turtles on television again. Leann Rimes singing the old theme song just had me rolling.

I just saw "I love the 80's" for '88 too. It wasn't that good but hes right, its nice to see them on tv again. Some stupid guy was talking about how the turtles set the standards for nSYNC and said who was like who(I have no clue why). Cmon don't diss the turtles like that. And a lady was talking about how biga hit they were and all the action figures and how she was "glad it was over." Well don't be so sure :D

This isn't TMNT-related, but to anybody who watched I Love The 80s all the way, was Nine Inch Nails mentioned in the 1989 segment? That's the year NIN debuted, and I just love it every time Trent is mentioned...
