:D ya i got it already, thanks for scanning/serving it paul...man, i've readed the turtles got trashed in image, but i thought that was in later issues...i mean, it's just the first issue and raph gets his face deformed and donny gets shot already :teek: geez.
As for the comic itself it's pretty dang good, better than i thought, tho i still prefer mirage and archie but i mean it definitely wasnt that bad :D

at first, i was really down on the image series. but then i read them, and to be honest, i like them a whole lot. i think what he wanted to do was have the turtles face different type of obstacles in life that they weren't used to, but to achieve that he took the route of mutilation. its kinda extreme, but i think the story lines were for the most part excellent. the raph as shredder thing was actually pretty damn good, and its not what you'd think at first. all the changes come naturally, and make a nice flow.

not to mention, it was chock full of action, and none of it seemed like it was forced or just put there just for the hell of it. very gritty and intense stuff. the art isnt the best, but the main reason i think that is b/c i prefer b&w comics to use duotone rather than straight up b&w. but the art is ok. i really wish they would've continued the series! or, since vol.4 isnt following this series, they should pick it up again where they left off. they left ALOT of subplots/main-plots (lady shredder? shadow's grandfather? leo's hand?) unfinished.

the only ones i didnt like was some of the crossover stuff. like the watchman guy or whatever his name was. but it was standable. i think the main problem a lot of people had was it was so much at once. in the first five issues 3 main chars were seriously f'ed up. but i think it worked out great! give them a try!
