I found the 12" giant TMNT figures at a KB Toys in San Jose, CA last Thursday. However, Target came up with nothing. I'm still on the lookout.

yea the exact date is january, we got lucky and playmates shipped early. usually toys never have exact dates, unless it's star wars figs being released for the movie.

Hey guys! I found all four turtles and the motorcycle at a WalMart here in the Houston, Texas area! They are extremely cool-only a few minor critiques that aren't even worth posting. It seems they ship seperate from Shredder, Splinter, and the Foot Soldier, because there were'nt any of those. They were all sold out by the end of that day, though! (Monday, the 23rd) I got one of everything for me, and another whole set for my fiancee, also a big fan!

NONE of them have the figures. the gallatin store did, but sold out. and while i was at home for 4 days, the cookeville store got them in buy already sold out too! BLAH!!!!

I'm in Nevada. I've checked Walgreens and Super K and so far no figures. I havn't checked Wal-mart yet. I knew Super K wouldn't have them. Their toy selection suck, at least here. They don't even have DBZ figures.

The one near me has always had them. They always have one row of toys (more at Christmas), including action figures. (I've spotted He-Man and Power Rangers, but no TMNT yet.) Don't expect them to get the first set of releases though.

anyways, at walmart yesterday, i saw 2 of the shell cycles. i asked someone working there, and i actually got someone who knew what the hell they were talkinga bout. he said that the turtles were planned for a spring release, but they did get a shipment in before christmas but they all sold really fast. he said give it 10-14 days and they should have alot more in.

im pissed at myself now. i checked walmart back on dec 22, and nothing was there. i went home the 24th, and thought about stopping by wally world, but decided not to. i bet i coulda found some then =P

oh well. the hunt continues!

Last night I found the armored Truck at a Target near me (Houston area)! It's totally awesome! They also had 2 leos, 2 raphs, a Mike, a Don, and 2 each of the roleplaying katana and bo. I passed on those, but got one of the 3 trucks they had. They also had spaces marked already for the 12" figs and the other vehicles. I still need Shredder, splinter, the slider, and an army of foot soldiers. My store (TRU) that I work at hasn't got any of this stuff yet, but we did get the planograms in!

I've posted a few photos in the "New toys are in stores NOW!" thread. He's quite nice. His arms could be a bit better articulated though. His left arm is extended and only swivels at the shoulder, his right arm is bent at the elbow, and can be twisted in some uncomfortable looking ways. Head, waist, and wrists all swivel. I just discovered that he can do the splits as well.

His weapons are nice as well, I'm not sure how effective a double ended sword would be, but it looks wicked.

Hi everybody. I'm new to the boards, but am a longt-time user on he-man.org (I go by Co-Lec-Tor over there).

I found all the new TMNT figures at Planet Comics in the Smithaven Mall today, I think they only got them in this week. I haven't seen anything at the TRU near the mall, or the KB toys in the mall. Maybe next time I'm there.

Oh, does anybody know how to make an avatar? I have a picture I'd like to use, but it's been a LONG time since I made my original avatar on he-man.org so I kinda forgot how exactly to go about doing it here- if it is even done the same way.

well darth it's possible, if you heat up the edges of the plastic the glue will melt and u can slide the plastic right off, then clean up the card and then shnoink the clean face and make a mask! I"M GONNA DO IT!

Splinter is pretty cool, although I don't like him being grey all that much. I always pictured him as being brown/black in the old 80's comics. That & his legs are a pain in the butt. Playmates must not want any of their figures to sit down, 'cause the way their legs are set up it's almost impossible for them to sit on their rears. I'm wondering how they'll fit into the battle shell! :o

I think the battleshell is sorta like the old can where you can just pop your the legs in straight and it'll look like they're sitting. At least i think i saw the back area of the battle shell was similar to the old van. Everyone start trying toysrus they seem to be getting in a lot of tmnt. Otherwise Target then kbtoys are your best bets. Walmart seems to be slumping down...

Well, the 5" figures and 3" mini figures have been spotted at Rite Aid in San Jose. BUT they're selling for $8.00 each, $2 more than Target. Grrr... I didn't even notice until I saw the receit. But they only had Mike and Raph of the 5" and I didn't bother with the mini-figs.

I bought myself the four turtles but was kinda limited on money so I'm waiting for another run...they didn't have Shredder, Foot, or Splinter, but they had all of the 12" and all of the vehicles.

I got my 2 new ones in the mail. Leo and Raph. Sad to say that no stores around upstate NY have them. I called Wal Mart, and got into a little rucus with the toy isle guy, called Target, that was a no-go. The Comix Zone didn't have anything. So I ordered them off Amazon, they came within 3 days, Anyone who can't find them, Amazon would be your best bet.

P.S., the toys rock, they look "Real" with the dirt look and so-on.

It worked out fine, came with in 3 days, you get a chjoice of shipment, fast or what ever. And if you want the packages in lighter or less boxes. I ended up getting Leo and Raph the third day in one box that was almost weightless. But the shipping and handeling can be a killer. I ended up paying 15 for the toys and the S&H.

Actually, if you want to get the new figures for the best price, Kay-Bee toys is apparently the only ones charging $5.99 for them. TRU, GameStop,etc. all seem to be chargin' $7.99+ for 'em. $5.99 ain't a bad price at all for new TMNT figures, considering Kay-Bee used to sell the orginal figures for that much back in the day. TRU & Kay-Bee always had a 2 dollar price difference, KB being more expensive, but nowadays it seems like TRU is the more pricey one of the two, but not always.:

MotU figures: $8.99- $7.99 at KB
TMNT figures: $7.99- $5.99 at KB
Transformers: $6.99-to-$10.99 - $7.99-to-$11.99 at KB

If KB is gonna keep the TMNT figures at $5.99, then I'm buying all my stuff from there- I'll go broke buying the new MotU AND the new TMNT for $7.99 a piece. :o

I just completed my first wave TMNT with Shredder and a second Foot Soldier this past weekend. My local Wally-Worlds finally have them, but now I'm a bit upset becasue they have them for about $5.83, when I've been spending $7 at Target and Toys-R-Us. Oh well ,the price you pay to have the figures ASAP. :trolleye:

ummm yea Bridges to USA? I dont know all the border crossings I know of are through bridges....(Niagra Falls etc) Seems fine to me, excpet the friend I was with is terrified of bridges(im not kidding you she has major panic anntacks) and my other friend didnt have his Passport thing so no one wanted to go through the trouble to cross the border.

I just came back from my usual hunt for TMNT toys...I had called in earlier today to Toys R Us and they said they had only ONE Foot Soldier left so the dude there reserved it for me :D So I picked it up, and going back home I decided to take a different route and kinda got lost, but also somehow ended up at a Kmart so I was like "what the heck" and I went in and I found them stocked up!!!

So I ended up buying two foot soldiers and one shredder, because that's all I had enough money for. :( But at least I got them. :) Now Wave 1 is finally complete...such a good feeling.

Oh yeah, I stopped at Target too and they had the RPG toys (Leo's Katana and Don's Bo) stocked up but the rest of the shelves for the figures were empty (tho they had all the vehicles too).

OK OK I FOUND THE TOYS TODAY IN TORONTO!!!!!!! :D :D

I found them in a small comic store on Queen Street near Spadina called SILVER SNAIL. THey had the 12 inch and the smaller ones. I bought: Don, Leo and Mikey. There was also a foot soldier, Splinter and Shredder but I didnt have enough money for them. Raphael was sold out and when I asked for him the guy rolled his eyes :roll: I guess Raph's really popular! Anyways I asked when they're getting more and he told me they had just gotten one shipment in yesterday, that's why they dont have alot in stock, but he is expecting more. I didnt buy the bigs ones because theyre really expensive but I am planning to go back maybe then I'll get one.

Leo is my favorite-he looks really good!

I got the turtles, Shredder, and Foot Soldier on the first day i saw them in 2 trips, then went back the next day and grabbed Splinter.

Hey motuthunder! It'sa me, Co-Lec-Tor! :D Nice to see another he-man.org person here.

The Toys-R-Us in Lake Grove on Long Island NY had only 5 Turtles figures left (3 Raph's & 2 Don's I think), a few giant turtles (had no interest in them, so just glanced at 'em quickly) & alot of Sewer Sliders & Shell Cycles. TRU charges $6.99 a figure & $10.99 for the vehicles. I used almost all of what was left on my TRU gift card to buy the Sewer Slider, so I got to save some money.

The Kay-Bee Toy store in the Smithhaven Mall also had TMNT toys in, but in larger numbers. No vehicles from what I could see, but they DID have all 4 turtles & 3 Shredders. I picked up a Shredder & a Mike figure so now all I have left to buy figure wise is Donatello & Leonardo. Kay-Bee charges $5.99 a figure, which is pretty impressive as it's the exact same price they charged for the original TMNT figures back in the day.

Actually, the only reasons I even got the Foot Solider when I saw him was:

1) I heard from an eBay auction description that he was 1 per case.

Hrmm.. I need to check more places. Targets all over Indy are clean sold out of ALL the 5" figures. But I was happy to find that one store had the Shell Cycle for $10, so I got that.

And for the guy who thought the splinter figure is just as big as the shredder fig, splinter is no where near shredder in the packaging they look the same height but once you take em out they aren't even close, neither are the turtles really

Yeah, it's weird that none of the turtles really stand properly. Their feet aren't flat. Well, neither are mine, but at least mine are flexible. Plus those shells do block their full range of movement. But I've got them all standing, so I guess that's all that counts.

Heh, well, they do stand fine. They passed the "must move the lid of the toybox to get at the books inside" test which included lifting the lid, moving it, setting it down on the bed, then putting it back. And they all stayed up. It's just a pain to find those perfect positions.

Mikey seems to have the smallest range of movement for his legs, at least, which makes him pretty hard to stand up. Donatello is a little tipsy at times too, maybe he just had too much to drink last night! :wink:

It's important to balance the arms correctly too. I've got my Mikey's arm up over his head with his chucks, with him leaning slightly back. I just propped my Don up with his extra bo, like everyone else.

Very true, and I can't even attach a foot stand (no pun intended) to my Foot Soldier to help him stand up due to the fact that the new figures have HUGE peg holes. Why they made them so large, I'll never know. But my two turtlesdo stand up easily. Mikey has a weird right arm though...

I saw a few kids over the course of like 3 months ask to rent the TMNT tapes, but there was none 'cept for the Next Mutation stuff. So I guess they learned about them through older siblings, or movie rentals?

Well, down here in Rockford, the Target here went Turtle crazy! I got extremly licky because I was originally searching for a Lord of the Rings figure gift pack, only to run into these little suckers! I picked up all of the figures except the Foot Soilder. (Ran out of money. :cry: )
I would review the figures, but it seems that everyone else has already given a review. :lol: They also had the role-playing weapons, the Van, and the Cycle.

omg! turtlemania is back!

so for the past 3 weeks of so I've been scouting the stores for the figures, and they pretty much were all sold out or haven't gotten shipments yet. Lo and behold, the day before the official release of the first episode, every store is packed with them!

I only went to Toys R Us and Target, but both had a PLETHORA of figures. The main turtles were the mostly prevalent ones but there were even a couple foot soldiers splints and shredders. Target had 4 shredders :o and I wanted to get them all but by then I was out of money since that was my last stop.

I've spent so much on the new TMNT stuff already...I have about 17 5", 2 12" and the vehicles...man and there's sooo much more to come.

Hello all, I'm new to these forums, this mini-turtle revolution sparked by the new toon/toys has also re-sparked my interest in the TMNT, it's been years.. it even prompted me to dig out my hundred plus toys and just sift through em and remember, basically, my childhood! :D

Anyway, as far as the new toys go, they seem to be sold out EVERYWHERE, which is a good sign. I've only tracked down a Michaelangelo (and I only plan on buying the other 3).

There was one more in the phone book but I didn't recognize the area. I ended up telling my friend and we drove to it, it was in Pasadena... low and behold - FULL STOCK! (Except no foot soldiers). So I picked up the other 3 turtles and was joyfully happy. I'm still undecided on whether or not I want Shredder/Splinter/Foot as I don't think I want to get back into collecting them like when I was little. I may buy another 4 of the turtles when I have the extra cash and just keep them in the boxes.

I'm glad that you're starting to get the new toys in Europe, but I can't help but feel peeved that we haven't gotten them here yet in Canada (especially where I live, nearly right on the US border). I've been checking Wal-Mart every week, but nothing. My comic shop has all of them, however. They had one each of those three left. I guess I got kind of lucky there. No I just want to get some of those platic cases for action figures to put them in.

I'm from Lakeland. My Target had EVERY figure, atleast 8 of each except for the foot soldiers, Splinter, and Shredder. I have all the turles and splinter carded right now, and I have two loose foot soldier and a loose shredder. I'm hoping to get Shredder and the Foot Soldier carded some time, and the vehicles.

When I finally went and looked for the figs I went to K-Mart. I was very lucky I went when I did. There was 2 or 3 of each turtle, splinter, foot, and shredder. I grabbed the 4 turtles and shredder, i woulda got em all but i ran out of money and K-Marts are more expensive. So I went back there a few times a week, never saw spliter, foot, or shredder again for about a month and a half. So I decided to check Miejer and all they had was 12'' figs, roleplay weapons, shell cycle, and sewer slider. But there were 4 empty hooks for 7'' figs. I checked everywhere for splinter, foot, and the battle shell, but I couldnt find them ANYWHERE! But just last night I went to a Target(a LONG drine) and I was shocked :o , they had 10 hooks for the 7'' figs and only a few had been takin, they just stocked it back up and they guy said that most go pretty fast. So I got my splinter and foot soldier. The had the weapons and 12''figs too. But they also had the battle shell. The only place ive ever seen it, everyplace else ony has the shell cycle, and sewer slider. I think your best bet would be Target and they are reasonably priced. This is in GR,MI BTW

Yep Target seems to be the best bet for most people. I found majority of mine there and it seems like you guys did to.

Target was the first to have the battle shells, but TRU is beginning to receive shipments now as well.

I waited it out because all the boxes of the ones at Target were beaten up :P

I saw like 20 of the Battle Shells at my Target, but I didn't have enough money to buy any.
