Early ep ponderings

Yesterday my dad confiscated the computer for his stupid Warcraft game. While I was unable to get online I did some writing and drawing, and played several of my TMNT tapes, including all three movies, TNM-East Meets West, and some of the cartoons. I noticed something, and it's been bugging me for awhile.

In the first cartoon episode, the Turtles have their first run in with the Foot. The battle goes on as such:
Raph fights with a Foot soldier, hitting it with his sai. "Clang? Did you say 'clang'?"
Then Leo slices another clean in half, revealing the Foot to be robots.
Mike: "Check those dudes out!"
Don: "Dudes, nuts! They're robots!"
And then they go on to beat them, blowing several up, ect. My question: Do you think Leo realized that the Foot were robots before he cut that one in half? Yes, I'm nit-picking, but the Foot seemed human, and even though censors would never have allowed a human to be disemboweled, there were no previous clues that the Foot were robots, aside from the clang, which could have been armor. So do you think Leo 'killed' that Foot, thinking it was human?

Nope, at the moment he didn't know it was a robot. so he did think he killed a human at frst until he actualy saw that it was a robot. so he nswer is: Yea he did mean to kill a human, but he didn't.

*shrug* I was kinda bored, I just think way too much, and I tend to go off on tangents, much like our discussions here. If you wanna see REALLY bored, you should look at my sketchbook.

See? I thought so. So he didn't kill a human, but it could have been a human for all he knew. They lose that mentality in later epes, and that's kinda sad.

Yea, it is pretty sad. I e-mailed ninjaturtles.com (i must be getting on their nerves...) again, and they told me that the next cartoon series, the foot won't be robots, but humans wearin the dragon dugi's. they said the new movie and cartoons will be mature, so dont be surprised if they DO kill some people... oh well... i jus hope it doesn't get screwed up, like killing off some of the charecters we know and love (ah! I'm changing the subject again! LoL).

Seriously, even if the new cartoon IS more mature, I doubt we'll be seeing anyone being disemboweled or beheaded. And I, too, hope no one important is killed.

LoL. seriously, me too. I don't think they'll be beheaded or stuff like that, but there is a chance of some tabbings and ****. ya never know... if anyone important dis... like April or somebody, i'd probably scream (not really... i'd just be a little upset.)

No. This just would have been the way the cartoon writers would have choosen to introduce to the people at home that they where robots.

I'm from California and I'm on ALL the time because I have no life. No school, no job. I'm usually surfing between here and a few other sites.

I'm in San Jose. And as to Ratking's first question, I do live at home, and I USED to have a job. A rather well paying job. When I was laid-off I had enough saved up to survive on for awhile. I have to go job searching when I move out in a few months.

Nope, never been to Oceanside, I don't do much traveling.

Oh, i travel alot... espeacialy when my dads a carpenter. he goes all over just to build tings. my mom and dad are divorced so sometimes i go wit h. my life is a little depressing. only see my dad a few times a year, and thats only when i travel.
