First episode of red sky watched

I just watched "Get Shredder" and I must say it was very good. It seems that action is back, and animation is great. I hope that the rest of eps are as good.

It's seems like the best TMNT in many seasons. Most episodes of season 4-6 are just bleh, Season 7 had some good ones tough. Well it's mostly written by David Wise, and so Is the Red sky, and he co wrote the first season too. I must say he is the best writer in that cartoon.

red sky eps were my least favorite. This new toon is sounding good and if it's anything like he-man or jla i'm sure it will be. Sure i don't watch jla but i saw it a few times and it wasn't bad!

They ruined it when they took Mike's weapons! At the beginning, they all had grapling hooks but then they tried to make it Mike's own special thing and it just doesn't work. It was a rope...

I liked Season 8 but I didn't like all the aliens coming from nowhere and everywhere...

Well I don't think they'l need to change the weapons this time. The world have changed since then.

I never liked season 8 that much. The Shredder and Krang eps were decent but the ones with other villians were just stupid. H.a.v.o.c. was stupid, that ninja clan was even worse, it just blew my mind at how badly the writers wanted to get rid of Shredder. Turtle Trek was probably my favorite red sky episode. Lots of good fights and the battles in the technodrome were cool. Problem was they had too many random alien battles in that ep. First they encountered that weird looking alien then they find what they think is a hill but turns out to be an even bigger monster. Then there was the battle to get the ship with "the wrecking crew". So let's just say I wished that the red sky had ended there.

Well Im not sure if I like it when the aliens get in it, but for what i've seen, it's the best TMNT in that series for a long time. It has even continuity. Well of course it might have been a shock to people who had watched the joker turtles for many years, bur for them the new show is probably going to be even bigger one. Well im sure there is humor, but not like that.

Seasons 8-10 of the TMNT cartoon. It's better in all ways than seasons 2-7. It has fight scenes, great animation, good plots, and continuity. Of course I haven't watched episodes with those aliens in it, but I don't think it will be that bad.

Because the writers were morons and decided to make the sky red, that concept totally blew my mind. It made absolutely no sense and was just stupid anyway. The red sky episodes were still amusing to me but I like most of the old tmnt episodes better. Still I say that season 8 should've had more Shredder and Krang. And trust me on this Karpo, Season 8 is MUCH better than Season 9 and 10.

Yes they wanted totally new look, and it worked. Personally I think they could have done good animation and a normal looking sky. Like the first season.

Personally, I think the red sky concept was a joke. It should've just been normal and the animators should've smacked themselves upside the head.

I didn't like the loneliness of the last three seasons. LOL! In the first three or four seasons, everything was familiar but by now, the entire city hated the turtles and all the buildings were different looking. :( Ah well, the animation was good! All I didn't like about them were all the aliens. I had nothing big against Dregg but there were too many aliens!

The loneliness is one major theme in the true TMNT. It was present in the first season, and they decided to chnage the feeling to a little more like the original. Well it won't beta the first season, but definetly everything else. Of course I have only watched 3 first episodes of season 8, but I don't think that Dregg can spoil it...

I liked how in '89 they seemed to be alittle more like Spider-Man. Atleast in that case, there are some fans here and there. Though I think the main reason they did it the other way in '94 was because people were starting to loose interest in the show.

You can get all the episodes from IRC. I heard that kazaa has some too.The only red sky ep that I got off Kazaa (ack!) was The Return of Dregg, and that was being lucky. I hardly see any red sky eps on there anymore, though more and more eps are appearing as the days go by, more so than I've ever seen before. I used to only see the same 7 eps EVERY time when I searched for them. One other thing that really angers me is that some dillweed decided to put "Full Episode" as the description on Turtle Tracks. That makes me want to send a mailbomb to that user (email, I mean) and then remotely format his hard drive...

What battles took place in the technodrome? I don't think I saw that one.

Dregg would've been alright, if Shredder and Krang were able to bring the technodrome back to Earth.

They could've had Shredder and Krang get into a big fight and decide to be against each other. Could you imagine Krang threatening to vaporize Shredder with the technodrome's main cannon?

And in the red sky episodes, Dimension-X didn't even look like Dimension-X. There weren't any stars or anything. The red sky created continuity between Earth and Dimension-X in the background.

I still can't believe that Shredder blew up the Channel 6 building.

I hope you're kidding because that statement is totally false. Burne Thomspon and Vernon Fenwick were abducted by aliens, the Eye of Sarnath came from an alien, Krang was an alien, the neutrinos were aliens, the dimension-X story had lots of aliens, camera that stored things in it was from an alien, the computer and spaceship that baxter the fly found was alien, the list goes on and on.

BUT the aliens in the earlier seasons weren't so abundant and they all seemed to have a reason behind them. In red sky, they came out of nowhere in every episode in bundles without an explanation.
