First off: I didn't know whether to post this topic here or under "Everything Else". If I pousted it at the wrong place, my deepest apologies. I figured since it was Zelda (video game char.) that this might be the proper place to put it...

..but anywho, lookit this ****. It reeks of awesomeness

If you mean 'awesomely bad', then God yes. I laughed my ass off at the trailer, and I can't wait for the full movie.

*raises an eyebrow* Um, right...

I don't see how you could call it bad. It looks very good and extremely well done for a fanmade movie. I'm deeply impressed. I'm really interested in watching the full movie! :)

I agree, it's a well made fan film. My only beef is Link's hair. It was the only thing I felt looked cheaply done.

It's not bad, it's awesomely bad. It's silly and cheesy, and fun. It has the same appeal as that old Batman show from the 60's (Which I love for the same reasons). It makes me laugh, and I don't mean that in a spiteful way.

LOL! This sorta looks weird... but hey, it's a fanmade video trailer, so it's not half bad.

OH, if only we had a real movie produced by a major company with major budget money... major special effects...........

....

Thanks to this trailer for reminding me that we'll never see a movie like that. :(

Wow... for a fan film, I have to say that was not half-bad. The special effects were cheesy, I have to admit, and Link's hair is just too... BLOND.. (I pictured him as sandy blond or light brown). However, I'm curious about the finished product. I wonder if this movie is based on any specific game or if it's a completely new adventure?

Link looks sooooooo stupid. No, just no. The only thing I could think while watching that was "These guys totally go LARPing on Friday nights."

I HATE Link's hair. While I didn't think the overall trailor looked bad, Link's hair ruined anything positive it had to offer.

I wonder just how much of this movie was filmed at their local Renaissance Fair, amidst the hundreds of confused turkey-leg munching fair-goers.

For a fan film, it looks rather decent provided they can actually act worth a damn. But unfortunately for most fan films, it's rare to find someone who can deliver their lines well and convincingly. Though I admit, I started laughing at the end when they started playing that cliche dramatic music from Requiem for a Dream.

Ha, yeah, that music was used in the flash video for Mario Bros. too

I hate fanmovies but I have to admit that it was pretty well done. Link looked retarded though.

That was very good for a fan film, I agree. Especially having made a film before.

That's the site it comes from. I want to see how this turns out. One way or another, it will be entertaining (most likely in the laughable way though). Still, I love fan works. They're always fun.

I have to agree with that. They can generally be worth a view in one form or another. Personally, I can't wait to see how this turns out.
