My favorite Spawn character! I love this guy. He's a chainsaw weilding mad man. He's a Spawn from long ago, if you read the Manga you should regonize him. Anyways this sucker took me a good 4 hours just to sketch out! Man his detail is tough. Then another hour to color properly. Then I added the backround which took sometime. I didn't shade, I didn't feel the need to. I hope you like it!

Awsome job there. Did you used paint ? Look like so but...
Very good work. Indeed, shading was not needed... for now. Although maybe later...
Keep it up ! And now do the Violator ! 8)

I used Photoshop 7, that's what I use for almost everything haha. Thank You! Yeah I was thinking about maybe shading it later but as of right now I'm happy with it as is.
I might do Violator but in the Manga he's a little weakling haha he needs Spawn to protect him.

He is indeed quite weak... But in the movie, he's alot better... ;)
I just like the design. And his jaw is worldwide famous. You gotta love him..

Very nice, but I'm kind of confused. Did you draw this, or did you just trace it and color it?

I drew it using refrence pictures from the Manga. That's what I usually do most of the time. Since I'm no good at all with poses I usually just copy others poses. It bothers some people but for the Manga art I've done so far no one's complained since the drawings I'm doing were never in color and I always add a backround and such.
Back when I drew TMNT I used to pause it on my TV and draw from that. Drawing from a manga is alot harder cause the picture is alot smaller and the book likes to close on me alot. I don't want to weigh the sides down though cause that sorta ruins the binding.

For poses:
Buy a Dynamic Drawing Figure books, or take a figure drawing class, works wonders.
