MOTU ripping off TMNT?

Just watching the new ep of He-Man, and it stuck me, they really do seem to be ripping off the TMNT in this ep

They use a weapons that are really simalear to the TMNTs signature weapons, a weapon resembling a staff, a Nunchuck, and a Sai (crystal), not to mention that one of the bad guys(Blue) is a super ninja, very quiet, and skilled, moving into the shadows or smoke and vanishing.

I'm not saying they are directly stealing but they do seem to be loosly based off the TMNT. To bad we'll never see either again, since both are now TooBad, and they pretty much lost all the cool ninjitsu

actually guys, in mostly original toy ways, tmnt ripped off on the gimmicks of most motu figs. And 2 bad has always been an original character. But the sai thing is sorta weird i do admit and there may have been a little tmnt resemblance. I'm glad someone else here watches motu!

yea, MOTU was a great show, keyword was, lol. Also, it was made before tmnt so there is no point in considering that it is ripping tmnt off. :wink:

Not the series, just that one ep, mst its all MOTU but this one seemed to have some TMNT undertones. And to a degree it may make sence, if I rember right its the TMNT that really killed the New Adventures of He-Man series, so this may be either an homage to them or a way to get even

Yeah but those were in the Original TMNT, not in the cartoon...

This copying each other's idea thing is getting on my nerves. They pretty much all copy off each other, there are heroes villains, etc...similar plots, just different stories and crap. Just give it a rest... :roll:

I haven't watched many episodes of the old show, So i can't say wich is better. The only thing that bothers me is that the story doesn't evolve. Skeletor and all his helpers always get away. Never can the Masters capture any of them... Well I still like the show.

Yeah, but there are hints of subplots that keep evolving if you watch carefully.
