During the past few days I have sat here at my desk sketching intensely with my pencil working on Shredder's Helmet. After a few drafts I have finally finished work on my view of Shredder's Helmet. I basically used the classic helmet from the first movie and worked from there. I would like feedback on it since I am constantly working on more ideas. I will post more when I get more done.

Looks good so far. I know, I suck at giving feedback...

hrmm... okay... *puts on her critiquing mask*

Don't take this personally, but it doesn't really look very much different from Shredder's orignal. It's just longer looking... but it doesn't strike me as impressive.

Perhaps... if you drew it from more than one angle, to see what the 360 degree view is like. And then you could add more texture or eching details in the metal. If not, then maybe just shading to see if the metal is reflective shiny, or a matte flat silver. Or were it is concave or convex.

I tend to be very open in critques when they are asked for. How does "Hey, it looks cool. Draw more!" help the person improve if they don't know what need help and what doesn't?

But yeah! That's a fun idea, trying to think of a new look for his helmet!

When it comes to being a critic, not many people like me; but here is what I think: I really don't like it, (sorry, but I don't), the body isn't porportionate and the artwork reminds me of the work of a snotty boy who was in my seventh grade crafts class whose only reason for getting good grades was because he knew how to kiss up, (No offens, it just reminds me of his work; I'm not calling you snotty or a but kisser).
Now for the constructive part of my Critizism! Besides what HT said about the Helmut, perhaps you can work on your bodily porportions as well by: 1) doing live sketches 2) takin a class on art anatomy. 3) using other cartoon pictures as your basic model.
I found that doing all three things help improve in such an area and if you follow through with them, they will make Shredder appear meaner, more evil and ultimately, more realistic.
