Picked this up yesterday at Best Buy (they only had one.)

I'm surprised no one mentioned getting this yet. Anyway it's out there.

Episodes it has (although everyone here probably already knows.)

- Hun on the Run
- Nobody's Fool
- Dragons Rising
- Grudge Match
- A Wing and a Prayer
- Aliens Among Us

This calls for a Walmart trip this week, methinks.

Indeed. Though before I can make such a trip myself, I have another quest to undertake... the search for more money.

Picked it up...I was thinking it'd have both Nobody episodes...guess I was wrong.
Question: According to my accounting, we have episodes 1-88 and 90. That said, we have 15 episodes (Counting the unaired "Insane in the Membrane") left from the past season. How many more DVDs do they have planed before they launch "Fast Forward"?

Bevandera

Only two: Rise of the New Shredder in August and an Untitled one in November. This has been a worry for me too. The only thing I can think of...."Return of Savanti" parts 1 and 2 came on single-episode dvds with Paleo Patrol figures (and some regular figures, I heard?) I also heard that one of the Nobody episodes was available as a single dvd, possibly a VideoNow disc or something irregular like that. I really hope they aren't counting those as "released" and planning to put the other 12 on the last two dvds...If it means getting Still Nobody and the ROS episodes, I'm all for buying 3 discs of 5 episodes each.

Yea, couldn't find a copy here either. Guess I'll have to go hunting again on Friday after work.

I went to two walmarts, circuit city, target, and miejer. I think one walmart had the last DVD release, but that was it for the turtles. I'll just order it from amazon. I'm glad I got Turtles Against hate from amazon because I got a green case. (The ones I saw at best buy and walmart were black.)

Does this wrap up season three on DVD?

Jester
05-16-2006, 09:28 PM
Season 3....yes. Now we just have to worry about the 15 unreleased season 4 episodes.

Chris

The single DVD was "Nobody's Fool" so they're not counting that release thank goodness.

There's 15 episodes left;

89. Still Nobody
91. Samurai Tourist
92. The Ancient One
93. Scion of the Shredder
94. Prodigal Son
95. Outbreak
96. Trouble with Augie
97. Insane in the Membrane
98. Return of Savanti Part 1
99. Return of Savanti Part 2
100. Tale of Master Yoshi
101. Adventures in Turtle-Sitting
102. Good Genes Part 1
103. Good Genes Part 2
104. Ninja Tribunal

So if we have two 6 episode DVDs that still leaves 3 episodes unaccounted for! 3.8 covers Karai becoming Shredder, and 3.9 will be the Mutant Outbreak and Don's mutation.

Now it's probably safe to say that at least "Ninja Tribunal" will be on the Lost Season DVDs. That leaves 14 episodes. Will they do two 7 episode DVDs? It's the best way and they can do it, but I'm just worried that they won't!

Personally here's what I HOPE we're getting;

TMNT Vol. 3.8: Rise of the New Shredder
89. Still Nobody
91. Samurai Tourist
92. The Ancient One
93. Scion of the Shredder
94. Prodigal Son
96. Trouble with Augie
100. Tale of Master Yoshi

TMNT Vol. 3.9: Mutant Outbreak
95. Outbreak
97. Insane in the Membrane
98. Return of Savanti Part 1
99. Return of Savanti Part 2
101. Adventures in Turtle-Sitting
102. Good Genes Part 1
103. Good Genes Part 2

TMNT: The Lost Season (2 Disc Set)
Disc 1 - "104. Ninja Tribunal" and Lost Episodes 1-6
Disc 2 - Lost Episodes 7-13

Hopefully with Fast Forward they'll do four 5 episode DVDs and one 6 episode DVD as that would cover the season properly rather than the mess up they made of the last two seasons.

They will probly just do some 5 or 4 episode DVDs again so they can make more money.

Maybe I'm a little lost here, but have they released Bishop's Gambit yet? I don't remember watching that episode... nor do I remember having it, and I own all the DVDs.

And, me thinks that they will indeed wait to release Ninja Tribunal with the Lost Season discs. And asking for 7 eps on a disc would be pushing it, however, I think that will probably be what they end up doing for the sheer fact that they have to finish up the season in 2 discs because the offical site has only 2 more DVDs left... Then Fast Forward disc 1 in January or February of 07.

They sure have. It's on my favorite DVD Mutants and Monsters. Right before I'Monster

Maybe they haven't released the information about a third disk being released yet.

Chris
05-19-2006, 03:35 PM
I don't think that's the case. They've got a pretty full schedule;

3.8 in August
3.9 in November
Fast Forward 1.1 at the end of January

And the Lost Season is being considered for a January release (personally I wouldn't be surprised if this either slipped back as they need more time or came forward to X-Mas to catch the holiday sales)

So unless they did another release in December I doubt we'll get 3.10 or 4.0 or whatever they'd call it.

But things have changed before (like the addition of Hun on the Run) so they could change again.

According to Borders, where I live, Hun on the Run will not be available until later this month. *scratches head* it is very close to the end of the month.

Atleast i got to see that Raptor episode. It was pretty cool for one of the mutants from Atlantis episodes next to the Sons of the Silent Age one.

I laughed at Mikey's quote that's obviously from SW episode 1.

Now there's only 2 episodes I need to see, then I'll finally be caught up in the series. ;)

Ok I just found this post by Boardman (a confirmed insider) over at Super Hero Hype;

"It may not as bad as I thought after all. The bad news however is that it will be unlikely 4Kid's will air the episodes even with the sign petitions. The Good news (I think) is that they will be releasing the episodes on a two volume dvd set. Each containing 6 episodes. However it will be most likely to be after airing some of the episodes of Fast Forward."

(The full post is here; http://www.superherohype.com/forums/showthread.php?t=228418&page=2)

Based on this new information, Dan's belief that TLS will be between 10-13 episodes, and 4Kids being unlikely to do many 7 episode DVDs here is what I think we'll be getting;

Vol. 3.8 - Rise of the New Shredder (6 episodes)
89. Still Nobody
91. Samurai Tourist
92. The Ancient One
93. Scion of the Shredder
94. Prodigal Son
96. Trouble with Augie

Vol. 3.9 - Mutant Outbreak (6 episodes plus an unaired bonus episode)
95. Outbreak
97. Insane in the Membrane Unaired Episode
98. Return of Savanti Part 1
99. Return of Savanti Part 2
101. Adventures in Turtle-Sitting
102. Good Genes Part 1
103. Good Genes Part 2

TMNT: The Lost Season (2-Disc Set)
Disc 1
100. Tale of Master Yoshi
104. Ninja Tribunal
105. Lost Episode 1
106. Lost Episode 2
107. Lost Episode 3
108. Lost Episode 4
Disc 2
109. Lost Episode 5
110. Lost Episode 6
111. Lost Episode 7
112. Lost Episode 8
113. Lost Episode 9
114. Lost Episode 10

Of course I could be wrong and I still hope that Boardman's wrong we'll get a full 13 episode Lost Season like was originally rumored. But Boardman's report of a 12 episode set, combined with the fact that we know we won;t get all the remaining Season 4 episodes on Vols. 3.8 and 3.9, and Dan's comment that TLS could be as little as 10 episodes has me prepared for this outcome.

that news sounds cool. I don't mind if it's 10 or 12 episodes as long as it shows what happens after episode 104.

I have high hopes for The Lost Season offering a fitting finale for this great series.

Think about it - The TMNT are going to fight some great evil in Japan (presumably the "real" Shredder), Bishop and Baxter want to track down who tricked them (the Foot Mystics who now want to bring back the "real" Shredder), and Karai and the Foot (and therefore probably Hun) will no doubt be involved in the story. Everything is set for all the elements to come together in one ultimate story that will hopefully see the TMNT fight their greatest ever battle.

Looks like they'll be able to tie everything together and give us a satisfying conclusion. And without network censors they can feel free to cut loose a bit more, making it even better. I'm hoping that with FF showing that April and Casey do get together we can get an engagement to really wrap up their relationship in the show.

Hope this isn't too much of a necropost...

I picked this up at Best Buy today (got tired of waiting for Walmart to stock it... they're so slow). I got it mostly for Grudge Match, but was very pleased with the others; forgot how great some of 'em were.

And besides that... no commercial break thingies (it just cuts... yay!) and it ALSO has the chapter start right after the intro, like the Reality Check arc DVD. Yes! *does a dance* :trazz:

You think Wal-Mart is slow....you should try Border's, K-mart, Target, and Rite-Aid in Oregon...none of these have gotten a copy of the DVD.

It's the same case where I live. None of the stores have gotten any of the copies. Help me, Amazon, you're my only hope. I'm not a big fan of online buying if I can avoid it, but I've waited a long time for the Hun on the Run episode to be on DVD, so it's an exception in this case.
