My brother and I took our mom to a fancy Chinese restaurant. Nothing beats a gift from which you benefit yourself. :p

hehehe yeah! at the current prices I figure I saved about $50 bucks round trip. And here I was scrimping and saving and eating Cheerios for three meals a day so I could afford to drive down to Alabama for the day

So, since I didn't have to drive and use that money I went out for a nice big yummy restaurant dinner...mmmmm mmmmmm! it was SO much better than cold cereal :D

I called my mom and grandmas. God, it took forever.

Oh, thanks for posting this thread, by the way, or I would've totally forgotten. And then where would I be?

Well, prolly the same place.

Only if the perfume didn't come in a gallon bottle.

I slept in on Mothers Day and forgot to give my mom the traditional Breakfast In Bed. I tried to help out for the rest of the day, but she pushed me aside and cooked a roast dinner in protest. Well, if she hates my cooking THAT much, all she has to do is say so :ohwell:

:cry:Tia Lilly had a great Mother's day. Bird was her with her two kids and her man. They cooked for Tia and I gave a home made card. Before we went to church Tia and me went to the cemetery to vistit with the family. I put a flower on my mom's grave and sang her "Time has come" I cried the whole song.

Thank you all. Jeez, I get no respect from the kids 364 days out of the year, and today is MY day.

My mom came up to visit me, which is hard for her sometimes because I am hard to get to. We went to my mandatory orientation for graduate school and spent the weekend apartment hunting. We had a good time in my new location. :)

I didn't buy anything for my mom cuz I had other things to spend my money on. I went to Olive Garden with my parents and we had a good dinner there. I have a feeling I'll remember this Mother's Day for years to come. I think my parents and I should eat there more often.

I suppose that I am kind of lucky that I have two moms in which one of them is a step parent.

For me mothers day is senseless, because you should love your mom and help her with the housework or other things the WHOLE year and not just one day in a year...
