TMNT-files re-opening on a better server! [Archive]

Well we have discussed things over, and now TMNT-files will move to same server where my brother channel is in. So this means, that TMNT-episodes will become a private place for Ops and sevrers, while TMNT-files will be the public one. Sorry for the confusion, things have been messy lately.

This time only trusted people will get ops and no abuse of power will be happening.

Sorry for all the confusion, it's been hard to find a new server and actually see if they'd allow our kind of channel and stuff, but it's all finally set more or less, in a week or so radixvir will probably fix the homepage, for now we're pretty much set now :D
AND WE HAVE 2 CHANNELS NOW, 2 BETTER THAN 1 YAY :P :P :P

Yeah. Well once the site has been changed, We should lock the DALnet channel...

Yeah...tho i'd still like to keep it open in case misguided people end up there, they can read the topic and go to the new server, but still kick people after awhile because i don't want em to stay if the new channel is already set up.
For now tho i'll leave the chan open and won't kick anyone, there's still many people that don't know we moved. (Mainly leechers :D)

If you're opped then just double click in #tmnt-files window then click on the 'moderated' box.

I say let's wait 2 more days...yeah, in january 3 then we could set it as moderated :D by that date most people will hopefully know of the new channel anyways.

You need to be serving or be a channel operator. TMNT-files is the public channel now.

Don't you go in Mirc options and the Irc Network to change the server??Still new to Mirc don't know how to fully use it.Where am I supposed to type that at exactly confused.

Hm... will the new server be alot more stable than the shoddy Dalnet ones? I hope so...

Because I could really use some TMNT episodes, since I always have trouble downloading them.

Ok.... TMNT-files moved on the new server, and TMNT-episodes became a channel for ops and servers. Yes the servers is more stable, and it is easy to connect to. And yes, you can add it to your server list or type it in the command line.

Well you have to serve, but you don't need to, as #tmnt-files is open to the public :)

I hate to be annoying & if I don't get it... this will be my last post & reply in asking this but.I am like stuck.I have Mirc32 but I don't know where to go for this.If someone who has the patience... could someone walk me through this step by step?? Thanx :goofygri: .

Just type /server -m irc.irc-chat.net to the command line. then /join #TMNT-files .

Yah don't feel dumb brothaman, we've all been noobs once :P i do remember trying to figure out some fserver for the first time, and the guy explained it to me rather than banning me, yay! :goofygri:
