I have never read so many bottlenecks in all my life. The write rate is worthless, and the cell is utterly broken on countless levels. The RSX is HALF of the 360's, and the bandwidth....read that one for yourself. The Xbox 360 runs circles around this fu*ker.

The problem is you're going to have to rely on some strong demand for the PS3. I really don't think you'll be making back enough for it to truly be worth it. You're better off just keeping the $600 and just straight dropping it on Wii and 360 stuff.

You'll need to make a guess at it though. If you try and nab one when demand is high...well then there's really no point. You'll need to pre-order to be able to get one, and then you won't know if you made the right choice or not until after you already spent your money on the console.

With the increasing amount of Sony hate, which is now up to a shocking level that seems to have spread everywhere, I'm becoming more and more confident that Sony isn't going to have these things flying off the shelves like they hope.

It came from pre-E3 and the subsiquent crap that has followed. Well deserved hate, much unlike the "Lamecube", which is hated on for no good reason at all. It's about time the Sony fanboys had to do damage control. I'm sure the Nintendo fanboys were tired of the years of defending they had to do with the 64 and Gamecube.

Unfortunately, for Sony fanboys, they have no possible come back to defend the PS3. The insults are a lot more just than the "LOLZ. Lamecube is purple! It's for ******S!!!" and "LOLZ! Xbox is so big! OMFG GAY!!!!!"

I dunno..i think you'll probably turn a fair amount of change...reasonable or not, that PS3 is gonna sell like hotcakes, at least initally. I doubt it'll keep up, but if you can get one from the begining and sell it during Christmas I'm sure it'll work out for you...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Christmas will be a sellout because there are a lot more *******s and socialites who will get it just to be coo' wit' their crew or some sh*t. That, and Sony will underproduce it to create false demand for those on the edge to perhaps convince them to splurge. You'd probobly make a killing during Christmas from all those dumbasses who will buy it because its a new tech toy or some sh*t. Everything sells out during Christmas, sh*tty or not. People just buy buy buy. By Janurary though, the thing will fall through the floor in terms of demand and nobody will make a cent.

My thought's on PS3 sales...

The system its self is going to sell, for a short time. It won't in middle America though, that's for damned sure (hell, i have a hard enough time getting parents to spend the $25 it takes to get their kids entered in to a Pokemon prerelease...).

But while the system's selling, the games will not. We're going to see a PSP type situation where the hardware's going but games arn't making a dent in the sales charts. Do YOU want to drop $70 for a game, on top of a $600 console? Anyone that can answer yes, and keep a straight face, is insane.

360 is going to be the better hardware, and Wii is going to deliver the future of gaming.
