TMNT got a goo size spot in TV guide this week right up front in the breaking news section. It's about Fast Forward and has a pic of Raph and Dark Mikey.

Could you check the cover of that tv guide to see the exact dates? I went to the store to get it and flipped thru it several times and didn't once see the TMNT stuff. If it's like for the week of 19-25 then that would probably explain why I didn't see it... I have to wait till Friday to get the issue... :P

Yep... FF premiers on July 29th....they're airing the first 3 eps in August then repeating them in September for some reason.

Well, after reading that I'm a little more at ease. At least theyr'e keeping the same basic elements of the show.

Those mags were like a monthly subscription I had when I was very young. I don't have much of any of them left. :cry: I didn't know how to take care of things back then...

The guide is for next week not this week. We get them in the mail a week advanced. Yeah for TV guide recognizing the TMNT that article was seriously the majority of the page.

The article is kinda telling when it comes to the reviewer's TMNT experence. They refrence "pizza-chowing" but in the new series they aren't overly pizza eating. As much as I loved the old toon, I really hope that FF doesn't become just like it. I liked the New series because it was darker and more adult. I don't want both series to be all about goofy jokes and slapstick humor.

I disagree. They look much better than the figures make them out to be.

I have to agree with Zarius on this one *gasp*shock!*. LOL.

I think Dark Mikey looks kinda dumb, but in FF's defense it looks like the typicle crappy promoart rather than an image from the actual show (which always looks much better).

No, they look flat out generic, almost reminds me of the characters they came up rather lazily in the 90's.

He does'nt even look like a Turtle, he looks like Berzerko after enjoying a three-way

Hopefully that "pizza-chowing" thingie is just the authors total ignorance for the subject. they had the same description of the new show when it was new, and still we haven't seen much pizzas in it

COOL! 8) Dark versions of themselves? Freaky!! I can't make any more comments about FF or critisize it cause I HAVEN'T SEEN IT YET...but I will. Being a true TMNT fan I am willing to give this series a chance and the producers at 4Kids the benefit of the doubt.:) Heck, if I could sit through all the episodes of NT:TNM and TMNT III movie (hint: if you watch these with the mute button on it ain't half bad), I can sit through FF no problem!:D

It just depends on how the writers directions for them. I mean, Shadow the Hedgehog turned out okay, but they ****ed him up by bringing him back in Sonic Heroes.

Hopefully they still put an emphasis in character development, then hopefully the Dark TMNT will have some depth to them.

But then again 4 Kids and Playmates are behind this.

No comment.
