Those look A LOT better than those early pics. More cartoony than I had expected, but it's cool. I hope the final product will look even better. Maybe this movie won't be so bad after all.

Hey thanks for posting these Zarius I actully like the look of these allot better for some reason now that they look more cartoony and less cgi looking.
I still wish they would have done just live action or normal animation for the movie.

Great pics. They do look better now. Indeed its quite cartoony looking, I'm not liking this that much, but its still better than the previous pics.

The problems about the eyes are still there though... Just a little closer from each other please... (just in case they do read the drome :P )

Also what's up with those legs ?? The thigh is too small compared to the rest of the leg. Just look Leo.

Yeah so, the eyes and the legs are the only remaining problems that I see. I can pass on the cartoony look.

Now waiting for the other characters to show up.

They look SO MUCH better than they did before.

I noticed that they must have used a Leo action figure when designing his swords. The guard pieces have that shape from the toy swords. I don't like that.
Why the hell are they not using REAL ninjato as a model when designing his swords?
They had better not **** up on the hilts and make them too short.

Ugh. I'm going to be pissed if his swords look crappy in the movie.

And as for the legs, it's just the style. You'll also notice that the hands and forearms are pretty large for the rest of the arms and shoulders. I believe they're trying to go for a "Mirage" TMNT look.




I have a problem with the ends of the masks though. I'd much prefer them to be pointy at the ends rather than cut off with that squarish shape. Also, I'd like them to be a bit shorter if they do end up being pointy at the ends.

I like the look new of the Turtles. Those pics are nice. I just wonder what characters like Casey and Splinter will look like. :-?

I really don't think the eyes are alright. Just look at don and leo's eyes. They would just need to bring them closer of an inch or two. Just that and they would look perfect.

They are surely going for the mirage look. But its still not looking that great outside of a comic book. They are maybe also trying to include the ''teenager'' feel, of not beeing fully proportionate.

Anyway, waiting for the trailer to really judge it all. Might look bad now, but might look pretty good while in movement and all.

Oh I know, the way they draw them right now, they're like little square things sticking out from their butt...I draw tails like they are, like you described...

yeah i think the main reason the tails were given the axe is because they can be mistaken for a turtle wang. At least in the old comics it was VERY questionable, heh.

I love the new look, all the turtles have personality in their faces, all are done differently. The mike is the same style as the teaser pic on the main site, so I'm sure these are the final turtles, too late for changes. They probably have half the movie done if it's coming out in march (awesome that it got bumped up 4 months, but also not awesome as it means they don't have much confidence that it will do well against the summer attractions).

They fixed Leo for sure, he looks so badass, Mikey looks the best though. Don's sneer is awesome, and Raph, poor Raph is in the way back, and it doesn't look like they really did much for him.

Actually, they now look like they're actually 15 years old where as in the new series they look like they're fully grown adults.

Turtle tails have two functions, reproduction & excrement.
It's weird that one thing serves as a life giver and a poop giver :P
Actually they're not stored there per se, the male's wang can be sucked all the way up into the body, most of the time they dont and lat it lay in the tail, and the female's is IN the body cavity. The tail just serves as the ins & outs of the parts.

I like the turtles to have tails. Because turtles have tails. But turtles also have five fingers and toes, so meh... :)
