New RPG

I did this awhile back on another msg board and I thought it was really fun. Everyone involved would make up their own hero's or villians. They would all live in the same world and everything would revolve around these characters. Whoever started the first chapter would set the time, place, whatever. Then the RP begins. Certian characters would do certain things and sometimes those things would effect other peoples characters. Like in the one I was involved in a mad man killed dozens off cops, a new person joined the RP and used that killing to create his own hero who found out ( being the only surving member of the police force that was gunned down) that he was a mutant. He started his story and eventually someone would drop in and create a character that would change everything and all the hero's came together to fight side by side. Some ended up staying together while others broke from previous groups and went on their own. It's like a big super hero thing where everyone has special powers. At the end of each chapter the creator would have a week or so to re-write the chapter and it would become a huge story with different chapters that would be put on web-site. It became so popular people began to create drawings of characters that were used to make comic type stories out of the chapters. I thought it was really cool and I'd like to do it again if anyone else would. Reply if you would and then can all come up with our characters. Remember they have to be completely original.

You just create a character. A superhero. You know like a mutant or something, who's mutant powers suddenly hit him like a ton of bricks. Or create an accident that gives him superpowers. Then of course there has to be the bad guys. One person will start off with their character. That person will start off writing about being in...say a club. Their character is a girl. Her head hurts for some reason. She keep seeing strange things and hear voices. She stumbles out into an alley and slumps against a wall. Then someone else can come in with their character. They become friends, or enemies, whatever you like. That person who came in can either already have their super powers or gain them sometime soon after the confrontation. Say the person is a guy. He's dressed in all black with a hooded cloak. You can make things interesting by saying to the girl "I've been looking for you." She can act all confused or be like "I've had a feeling someone was." Say her mutant power is telepathy. In the club she was hearing other peoples thoughts. She heard this mans. He turns out to be some kind of mutant as well. He was looking for her because....say he's the seeker of mutants. "But I don't want to speak with you" he'll say. "I want to eat you." (yes i know, corny, but I'm doing this without thinking) So the guy rips off his hood and reveals something slimy and nasty underneath. The person controling that character will describe his face and what not. Then say someone jumps from the rooftops and kicks the monster in the face. This is another persons character. He's....super jumping/kicking man whatever. You don't have to all join in the same scene either. Say one bad guy doesn't have powers. Instead he's a maniac. He walks out of a bank. Police everywhere. He guns them all down. He just walks away like nothing happened. You see now how it goes?
Eventually when alot of people began play they formed groups and things. Sometimes when things are slow, the one who created the RPG will toss things in, like an alien space ship or something. It crashes to Earth and the surviving Aliens wage war on the planet. Something like that. The heroes and sometimes the villians, have to come together to stop it. It can get really really cool.
