How many volumes do you think there will be? Will they release all the seasons? will they stop after sesaon 3 or maybe stop after volume 5? Does any one know how well the DVDs sell?

Any one?? :ohwell:
I'd prefer it if they would release as many volumes as it takes for the entire series to be out on disc. The DVDs themselves sell pretty well, considering all the old school fans there are out there. Usually, if you see one on the shelf, you'd best grab it before they're gone.
Of course, as for my area, there isn't enough demand for TMNT, so DVDs are pretty scarce. I used to be able to go to my local Wal Mart for 'em, but now I find myself traveling to Best Buy just to see if there are any in stock, and even then it's a longshot.

Most of the broader animation fans will stop after three has ended, and I've been on certain forums which seem to enforce that, as it was in every way the "end" of the TMNT's consistent quality on one level or another. Besides, Region 2 does'nt get any of these outsoide of import sites, so there is'nt a global neccesity to keep it going.

My guess would be 20

On amazon.com the old school Turtles sell alot more than the new TMNT series. You can see it by searching for Turtles, and select "bestselling". The old school sell best, then the movies, than the new series, then Next mutation? Does any one have know what plans Lion Gates have after series 3?

Well, until Season 7 started, which of course, was one of the best seasons ever. And of course Seasons 8, 9, and 10 had a consistent quality as well.
Most of the bad episodes were in Season 4 IMO, Season 5 and 6 really did have a number of great episodes.

I hope they will release season 4 and 5. Had many good moments IMO.

I'm hoping for the full series though I doubt it.

that is a crying shame that some idiots are forcing their narrowed-minded opinions down people's throats. I wouldn't worry me so much but I know that there are some very impressionable people out there who don't have good long term memories that will buy into biased opinions like that  .
Fans need to learn to be more objective when it comes seasons after three, because they going to be missing out on some good episodes.
Any way I want the whole series to make it to dvd, i'm really hoping to get my hands on season seven, since its my favorite season. Heck i'll even buy seasons 8 through 10 just for the hell of it even though I'm not a big fan of red sky.

Can I be ironic, here? I have never seen volumes 1-3 at Target or Walmart (got one at Best Buy, got #2 at Newburry Comics)... but I've actually seen #4 in both stores. Odd.
I'd buy them all, all seasons, myself. Some episodes in 3 were good, some where bad. All around it is a bit mixed, but they are fun to rewatch.
I just hope the cartoon Alf and Alf tales do well enough to have the entire series of both released.

I read somewere that they were going to release season 4 in 3 parts (13 episodes in volume) in 2007. Has any one else heard anything about that?

that would be so sweet if they did that! Do you think the European arc will be released with season four, or do you think they are going to release it (if we get that far) with season seven? I kind of hope it gets released with season seven because I really consider it as being apart of season seven not four.

How? The continuity is screwed to hell on it.

It's true the continuity will be fu... up if they release the lost sesaon with season 7. No question about that. I must say, and i know alot of you will disagree, i hope the lost season won't be released with the forth season, simply cause i really hated the european episodes. And that is ironic since I live in europe. Maybe we shouln't wonder so much about this since maybe they will stop releasing after the third season. God I hope they will release the entire series though. Has any one contacted Lion Gate and asked them about their plans for the future. Any one have any info at all?

The european vacation episodes were up and down. Some episodes were pretty good and others were just horrible. I still say Artless is the worth TMNT episodes by far. Still, since they were chronologically in season 4 that's how they should be released IMO.
