Anyone care to spill their guts on their other interests besides TMNT?
Oh, I will! Well, comic books are a big intrest of mine, and not just TMNT. I'm a big fan of Chaos! Comics (even though they went under) and Top Cow. And I'm working on becoming a comic artist/writer as well. Or just a plain old artist/writer. Anything along those lines is cool.
I also love temporal/multi-dimensional theory, geneteic engineering, and basically anything with one foot in reality and the other in sci-fi/fantasy. And I've got several texts on martial arts, mental and physical aspects.
All of which ties into TMNT, which is a big reason why I got back into them.

I am interesed in many other things besides the Ninja Turtles.
My favorite show is "The X-Files."
I love reading children's literature. Some of my favorite series are the Berenstain Bears, Magic School Bus, Goosebumps, the Franklin books, and Harry Potter.
I am majoring in English, with a minor in Writing, and I want to be a children's book author. I would love to work in children's literature in some way, either through writing or through becoming a children's book editor. Working for Scholastic would be pretty cool.
I love competing in sports. Baseball is my favorite, followed closely by track and field. I like to swim, and I like shooting billiards.
I don't play too many computer games, but I am obsessed with Myst, Riven and Myst III: Exile. They are, hands down, the best role-playing games ever created.
I always like a good movie! Tom Hanks is my favorite actor. Michael J. Fox is another good one. I don't really have a favorite actress, although Laurie Holden keeps flashing in my head.
I play in a concert band. My favorite kind of music is orchestral/classical, but I also listen to country, pop, and R&B.
There is probably more I could tell you, but why bore you with all those details? :P

Well, I'm an animation/comic nut. (That includes anime/manga). Stuff like "X-Men", "Exiles", and "X-Statix", plus more Indy fare like "Blue Monday" and "Jhonny the Homicidal Maniac". As far as Anime's concerned, I love Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Evangelion, and Daiguard. Manga: Ranma 1/2, Inu-Yasha, and Chobits.
And I'm also really nostalgic: I still collect stuff dealing with Care Bears, My Little Pony, and Popples. Big 80's nut. :P (And, yeah, TMNT does fit into this catagory.)
I wanna be a comic artist/writer, and I'm going to study animation in college.
Umm...guess that's about it. Peace! :)

I'm interested in digimon (slowly losing interest tho..) drawing, downloading episodes of stuff 'till my hard disk is stuffed, and posting in forums about what interests me,
Currently i gained interested in playing jazz jackrabbit 2 online, but that might change, i'm not much of a gamer.
There's probably a lot more stuff i'm interested in, but if i can't remember, it's not important enough to post it here i guess :P

Dude you rock, I wanted to be that too a while back, I think I'll try and do it when I'm old, and when I mean old, I mean like 70's, if i live that long. I loved the berenstein bears and many other children's books that my mom and me read a long time back, like the beast in the bathtub. I totally support you and your passion for children's books 100% go for it!
I like tmnt everything, action figures in general, and some certain comics like simpsons, usagi yojimbo, tmnt of course, and ultimate spider-man. The new MOTU comics are look'n pretty cool too.
Btw my crush is always fun to look at at lunch ;) i'm not stalking just viewing from a distance! Some day i'll conjure up enough nerve to talk to her :P

Besides TMNT I'm into some other stuff.
Hockey is one major thing. Of course I'm Canadian so it's one of the most important things to me. My favorite team is the Toronto Maple Leafs and when I play hockey I'm either goalie or defense. Mostly defense, but I'm improving in net.
I'm a hardcore gamer. I've got all the technical stuff down pat.
I'm also into Harry Potter. I'm starting to go crazy waiting for the 5th book.
I'm into Spider-Man. Not so much latley since the movie but I'm still pretty into it.
Family Guy has got to be one of my favorite shows of all time.
"I don't mean to say you're rich but when you walk into a bank all the tellers go WHOOPIE!............That wasn't very funny....I though you guys were jewish" "Well he's only half jewish" "You're fired!"
I've got some intrest in wrestling all though it has dropped off over the past year.
And of course I love to.............

Hmmm...so many interests...Right now Im working hard on a manga webcomic project(Megatokyo and Penny Arcade lookout!), as well as a cyberpunk culture magazine and electronic music project.
Interests I have would include electronic dance music(VNV Nation, Depeche Mode, Apoptygma, Covenant, Skinny Puppy, FLA, 242, Aqua, Fluke, smile.dk, etc), anime/manga, Muppets/JHC/Farscape, indie comics(anything Jhonen Vasquez, Oni Press, SLG, old school TMNT, etc), film(Matrix, TMNT, Jedi, Dark Crystal, Clerks, Pi, Muppet Movie, etc), video games(80's arcade, SNES, FPS online gaming, some new consoles), cyberpunk(william gibson, fashion, etc)multi media design, wacky humor(seinfeld, SNL, The Tick, etc) and other fun stuff. ^_^
So weird, I basically have the same interests I had when I was like 5...
anime, Muppets, comics, Star Wars, Transformers, new wave, and video games. Weird how some things never change.

anyway old school cartoons are my interest in truth...i.e. cartoons of the eighties and nineties...

Interests besides the TMNT, eh? Hmm..
Anime. I love anime. Akira, Princess Mononoke, Blood: The Last Vampire, Bastard, etc. So many to choose from.
Comics. The only ones I'm following right now are TMNT and Xin: Legend of the Monkey King. I'm also kinda following JSA and JLA. I still want to get Virtue and Vice. I used to read X-Men, Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Batman, and Spider-Man. I may get back into those during the summer.
Videogames. I love VGs, 'specially RPGs. Big Squaresoft fan. I also like DDR and fighting games, like Capcom VS SNK 2 and Virtua Fighter 4.
WWE. Yeah, I like pro-wrestling and I know it's fake. But it's so entertaining... And if you've ever seen Tough Enough, then you know what these wrestlers have to go through.
Books. Specifically, fantasy and mystery. Big fan of Anne McCaffrey's writings (her Dragonriders of Pern series) and Agatha Christie (favorite book of all time: And Then There Were None).

Heh, one of my friends used to be a huge Pern addict.
As for my current interests, I like to watch and draw cartoons and comics, wall/rock-climb, play videogames, read sci-fi and fantasy, and make sculpture models once in a great while. I've always loved comics and cartoons as a kid and am even majoring in animation, but I dunno how far that'll go :\ I also was into anime for about 10 years, but I'm pretty much burned out on it now; still read some manga though. Hmm, I'll just make some lists of categorized interests off the top of my head...much faster.
BOOKS:
-Any of the better works in the cyberpunk genre, specifically "Neuromancer", "Dune", and similar.
-social commentary fiction, like of Gaiman or Prachett
COMICS(not including webcomics, b/c I read too many):
-"TMNT" :P
-"Kabuki" and "Scarab" by David Mack
-"Dork" and the "Hectic Planet" series(aka Pirate Corps) by Evan Dorkin
-some of Jhonen V's stuff
-"Stray Bullets"
-"Powers" by Bendis and Oeming
-"the MAXX" and other Keith stuff
-"Nausicaa" by Miyazaki
-"Gunnm" (aka Battle Angel)
-"Calvin & Hobbes", some old Disney comics, and many more
US ANIMATION:
-TMNT of course
-Transformers: Beast Wars
-Courage the Cowardly Dog
-Powerpuff Girls (it's an awesome show, don't shoot me! :\)
-Samurai Jack
-Invader Zim
-SpongeBob Squarepants (see note for Powerpuffs)
-Kim Possible
-any short by Don Hertzfeldt, Craig McCracken, or Bill Plympton
-any animation features or favorite 80s cartoons I forgot to mention
ANIME(buncha bandwagon stuff):
-Serial Experiments Lain
-Niea_7
-Cowboy Bebop
-Key the Metal Idol
-Neon Genesis Evangelion
-GunBuster
-Birdy the Mighty
-Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou
-many more
MUSIC:
-Aquabats
-Reel Big Fish
-Goldfinger
-BOA
-System of a Down
-some jazz(all subgenres), classical, house that doesn't consist of simple synthed patterns repeated ad nauseum, punk, and industrial(not that pseudo-industrial stuff like NIN, though I like em too)
other stuff:
rock-climbing, rock-climbing, and rock-climbing. Oh, and maybe a little hockey and football too. I also do some online RPing, play mostly Rpg and platformer games, and like to discuss philosophy and scientific theory.

Good to see fans of indie comic son here...afterall thats whats at the nexus of the TMNT! heh
Yeah cyberpunk novels rock...actually anything cyberpunk rocks. William gibson and Masamune Shirow are probably the two coolest cats in the genre. Ya wouldnt have had the Matrix without these two!
So there are fans of webcomics on here eh? Im launching this march
a webcomic that should hopefully rival Megatokyo, Penny Arcade, and DieselSweeties. This isnt some half a**ed keenspot attempt, but a professionally designed website for a comic that should appeal to fans of otaku, video games, etc. I think one of my main influences is TMNT(wacky humanoid animal characters)
One thing I hope to seperate my webcomic with the other big boys out there is a very professional, crisp cyberpunk design, as well as original color art. (You dont see much color or actual non templated original art used in webcomics)
So yes...

Actually, without Jean-Paul Sartre, you wouldn't have the Matrix :P Even the scene with the fireplace room was inspired by Sartre's existentialist writings.
Neat, you're making a webcomic. I'd do one if I wasn't so overworked/lazy.

Hong Kong martial arts flicks (Bruce Lee/Jet Li)
YAY! Another Hong Kong Legends fan! Although I prefer Jet Li, Jackie Chan and Chow Yun Fat.
My other main interests apart from Ninja Turtles are :-
Parrots! I love them! Keeping and breeding them, it takes up a lot of my time, but as I said I love it.
Eastern Culture, Tradition and Literature. If it has anything to do with China, Japan or neighbouring countries, I'm there!
And last but not least Penpals!

Hey now, everyone's got different interests. No one here is boring. :)
