Never posted fan art here before, but here's a Slash pic I drew a while ago and recently colored in Photoshop.

Thanks. I wish I could have done a better job on the coloring, but I'm still getting used to Photoshop.

Nice effort there, we can see that you're begining in photoshop, but its still good. Although next time, try to resize your pic a bit smaller. 800 x 640 pixels would be perfect. If you don't know how, I'll be glad to help ya out.

I could also give you some advice to help you do cleaner jobs. Photoshop is one superb program, you just need to know it a bit better. You'll see its easy.

But for this one, a good 7/10. ;)

Here's another concept sketch I did while trying to come up with my modernized/new toon Slash.

I decided against the bladed shoulder armor after I altered my concept for his origin, but still wanted to have a reference to the old Slash, so that's where the spikes on the "final" version came from.
