OK, all you crazy U. S. citizens out there....pray for me. I'm hearding my friends two kids, her two nieces and nephew, another friend's child and a couple of Big Brother/Big Sister kids into Downtown Nashville at about noonish today so we can get good seats for the Metro Fireworks display

the display starts at nine tonight and I have to spend all day down there to get good seats :P But there will be hot dogs aplenty and I'm taking them all to a restaurant for supper.

anybody else doing anything exciting for Independence Day?

Sounds fun. :D Hope you have a great time.

I'm off to my grandparents' for a cookout, which might be fun... but it'll probably be all stormy and gross like it was yesterday. I'ma bring my sketchbook, I think... to keep myself entertained.

Then it's back home in the evening, as my sister's marching in the band in the local parade. And, of course, fireworks when it's dark. Again, I hope the rain doesn't ruin all of this.

Going to my Gram's for a cookout later. Doing something with my mom, dad and bro now. Though it's stormy out.

There will be firework's later I'm sure. But I'm not real big on those. Besides, our stupid neighbors have been shooting them off in the street for about a week now. Just wait 'til the festival. Ugh.

Happy 4th, peoples.

I'm going to supper at my friend's house, and then we'll either go to a local fireworks show or hop the metro to the dc show. :)

Have fun everyone! (Stay safe!)

Sorry, but I've lost my patriotic spirit alltogether after hearing my weekly TWiT-cast (http://www.podtrac.com/pts/redirect.mp3?http://aolradio.podcast.aol.com/twit/TWiT0060H.mp3) and knowing that our country (and now apprently the internet) is run by bought off mental retards.

Forgive my bluntness. I'm just not in a mood to celebrate.

Idiots have been shooting off fireworks for the past 3 days here. Despite the fact that Canada Day was on Saturday. Really annoying.

Personally, I'm looking forward to the peaceful change of government of '08.

Man, that would have been great if I'd watched that movie on the 4th. Independence Day rocks.

...I don't think that's the building to explode if one wanted to get rid of the problems, though...

My 4th of july was ok. My family didn't do any special. I went to got see the fire works but they never showed cuz of the rain clouds so I went home and went to bed. But did them in my sleep about 30 minutes later.

I spent the 4th inside my new apartment. I found my dog sleeping in my bathtub because he was so frightened of the fireworks.

That was ten days ago. I think this thread has served its purpose.
