Ace Duck painting--acrylic on canvas

I did this years ago, only got around to scanning it today so that I could enter it in Mirage Studios art contest. I've already won before, so the chance that I'll win again is pretty slim (and I've entered some really good stuff, lemme tell ya).

This will be showing up on e-bay later today, and I'll post a link. I'm not gonna be asking a lot for it, and I figure some really big fan of the vintage toy line will buy it.

By the way, I noticed that the shadow is all wrong, but I don't think that takes too much away from the painting itself. Not bad for a high school kid (that's what I was when I painted this). :)

Although I haven't seen your competitors's work in the contest, I can't really predict anything. But indeed that shadow is dead wrong :D I just hope the judges won't be too picky about it.

But your Ace is awsome. The right hand aside, the details are pretty neat and precise. Shading is pretty good too.

You get a 9/10 from me my friend.
