TMNT Official Turtles Title
It's not just an abbreviation anymore.

July 14, 2006 - Warner Brothers has announced that the official title for the 2007 CG Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film will be the popular abbreviation for the franchise, TMNT.
The film is currently in production at the hands of Kevin Monroe, a joint venture between Warner Brothers (who will handle domestic distribution) and The Weinstein Company (which will handle overseas).
TMNT is an adaptation of the comic originally created by Kevin Eastman in Peter Laird. Although the original comics were significantly darker, the franchise took on a kid-friendly form in the 80's in the form of a popular animated television series, a toy line and three live action films.
