CODY
O'Neil Tech Heir and Friend to the TMNT!

STATS
Height: 5'
Weight: 138 lbs.
Hobby: Training with Splinter
Vehicle: Hoverboard
Weapon: Ninja Tek Hockey Scythe

Meet Cody Jones, the fourteen-year old great grandson of April O'Neil and Casey Jones, and heir apparent to the high tech corporation O'Neil Tech! It was this brilliant young inventor who accidentally transported the Turtles and Splinter to the year 2105. Living a secluded and sheltered life before the arrival of Team Green, due to his over-controlling uncle, Darius Dunn, it has fallen upon the Turtles to help Cody break out of his "shell" and develop his "inner turtle!"

Darius Dunn is in the credits so we'll get to meet him at least. Oddly enough his VA is also the VA of Agent Bishop. :o No clue which side of the family he's from tho...with the surname probably Cody's mother's brother...Or it could just be Agent Bishop in disguise..

No. Just...no.

Darius Dunn is considered a villian. I have the TMNT Fast Forward deluxe figures, and there is a plasitc cut out of Darius Dunn for target practice. The figures also come with targets of other Fast Forward villians.

The Darius Dunn plastic cut out is him driving a robot exo suit.

No. Just...no.

I totally agree, tortugapower. Out of ALL the villians that have been on the show, I hate Bishop the most...even MORE so than I EVER did Shredder. And THAT's saying something, TRUST me!

Anyway, peace.

I'd rather not have a great villain like Bishop involved in this season.

I agree.

I'm fine with this show, as long as they don't tie it to the rest of the series.

That way, if I don't like it, I don't have to consider it the same show. (I think of it as a spin-off right now).

Considering there are 25 more episodes of this series, I would consider it worthwhile to see it turn into something great.

I'm sure nobody here judged Season 4 based on "Cousin Sid" since that episode was pretty boring. Season 4 started off slow and turned out great in the end.

The first five or so Season 4 eps were enough to make me worry. "Sons of the Silent Age" made me expect Captain Planet or The Conservation Corp. to show up.

Yeah, but it was cannon, a animated version of an actual comic. :P Silly Fraggle.

Ugh, I saw this horror of a bio last week at Toys R Us when the toys were there and I tainted myself by picking it up to read it. ;) :P

Not surprising, that's messed up. I'm 5'3" and (at max) 132 lbs. According to this, he would be more out of shape than I am, but he looks like a skinny kid in the show. Playmates has always had screwy bio info like that.

Yeah, Cody also looked taller than 5' in he show...but how can ya tell?

...Well, we all knew this was coming, but it would have been nice if they'd broken the pattern and not had him do that. This about the worst news since they announced Cody on the whole. Ugh.

So, in other words, we're going to treat Cody as if he were Zack 2.0?

:o Oh, Lordy, I certainly HOPE not!:o THAT kid (Zack) was even MORE annoying than my ex-brother-in-law, Cecil! And THAT's SAYING something, BELIEVE me!!!

Peace.

It would have been better if they introduced Bishop in FF. He has no place in the 2003 series. The guy's totally unoriginal character design/matrix rip-off is just lame. They build him up to be some kind of super freak only to give us a silly origin story. He was kidnapped by aliens. What's worst, when you actually find out what's up with him, there's nothing cool at all. The writers got lazy and try to make it mysterious by having his body rammed through a hook that would have killed any human, only to reveal he is human.

As for Cody training with Splinter... I hope we don't have to watch an episode where Splinter teaches them a new move and Cody's the only one able to keep up while the other 4 goofs up. And Splinter gives some lecture about him being a better student than the turtles. :dead:

Yesterday at Target I baught a Triple Strike FF Raphael. All the Triple Strike figures come with 3 weopons and targets of the villians to shoot at.

I wasn't sure which of the villians I had got. But I was sure that one of them was Dark Raph. I just read the box and it lists the villians that came with.

Sure enough I got Dark Raph and Sho'Okanabo...but...the other target is... Darius Dun! OMG! I have Cody's uncle! Well a target of him anyways! :o

He's wearing a mech suit of some sort that has 2 toes on each foot...He almost looks like he could be part turtle or something...kinda...freaky.

*shrugs* April's bio material implied that she started training with Splinter early in the first season, and they didn't even mention it on the show till the third season. Just because it's in the bio doesn't mean it's gonna show up on screen that much. It may, but there's the possibility that it won't. Even if it does, it doesn't necessarily mean he'll be all that good at it. April only had the gymnastic part down (having had previous experience), she didn't think like a ninja at all; hence freezing when Bishop came after her with a taser in "Worlds Collide", and getting held up at gunpoint after allowing the Purple Dragon guy to go flying over her shoulder in "Cousin Sid": she was so into the flashy part that she missed the practical (kick the gun away right after flipping the guy, April! When someone tries to zap you, don't just stand there!, etc). I doubt that Cody will train for a week and suddenly be an expert.

Question: If Angel had had more screen time, would she have bothered you like this? Or Tyler, or any of the other kids in the cast (if any, none come to mind at the moment)?

He's wearing a mech suit of some sort that has 2 toes on each foot...He almost looks like he could be part turtle or something...kinda...freaky.Shades of Xanatos' Steel Clan... :p

Thank you, JD. Of course, you DO know that I was talking about ZACK, NOT Cody, right? Cody I kinda/sorta DO like. Zack was just.....annoying in the way he mega-hero-orshipped the original TMNT. Made me want to SERIOUSLY either strangle the kid, or tie him up, gag him and toss him a closet somewhere! He was just WAY too hyperactive. I mean, he DID have his GOOD moments, but YEEESH! half the time I got headache just WATCHING him!!!

So you prefer Bishop to be aliens:roll:
