Using the teaser trailer for next year's TMNT CGI movie (or rather, a fan trailer that used the theme music from the '80s cartoon since that was in .wmv format), I spliced "T-U-R-T-L-E Power" by Partnerz-N-Kryme instead and mixed up the scenes to fit the music.

This is my first experiment with Windows Movie Maker, so it's a little rough in some spots. Whatcha think?

Awsome, I really like how you placed parts of the trailer with the song, such as when they song begins to talk about the cops you cut to the cop car and its search light.

Really good stuff, but eh even if your using Windows movie editer and you know what your doing the thing will always screw somthing up on you:evil:

Good job though.

I thought it was pretty cool how you did that. Great job. You should do this for other trailers.

Thanks guys!

Raven: My primary concern with the trailer -- much like with any other media project I undertake -- is telling a story. So while it would be easy for me to just run the TMNT trailer with the T-U-R-T-L-E Power song and call it good, the two wouldn't necessarily go together in any meaningful way. So I tried to have each aspect (footage and music) complement the other. It's a relief to hear that I've succeeded.

cowabunga14: I would definitely like to do this for other trailers (like for the X-Men movies and for the TMNT cartoon), but I haven't been able to track down a lot of downloadable .wmv versions. Anybody know of a good place to find such files?

The original trailer? There are tons of them posted on youtube, actually: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_RHuX8x-Ig is one of them, just to make the search a little easier :twink:
