It was news to me that Mako was able to do the voice-over for Splinter before he passed away. Did everyone else know that?:-?

I hope that they work hard to make this movie a tribute to his work.

This article was pretty interesting. Now I know more about the plot for it. I think I'll post this on the Superhero Hype forums. It says Mikey alias will be Cowabunga Cow, but Larry probably meant to put Cowabunga Carl. :ohwell: As long as we know what the real thing is, that's all that matters.

Mako had done all his scripted work for TMNT. However, once the scripted stuff ends, the director and producers may have you come back in and do other voice recordings to match changes in the script, etc. They sync the character to your lip movement, but Mako never got a chance to do this as the movie hasn't moved into the final stages of development, and changes have still yet to be made.

It's undetermined who will do the changes now that Mako has passed.

When you say the phrase "Raph will be a superhero called Night Watcher" it sounds cheesy, but I know they're gonna make him awesome. And since it's Raph doing it and not Mikey, he's going to ignore the petty frills and do some serious butt-kickin', I bet. Sweet.

The more interviews I read, the more I'm confident that this Munroe guy just might have it nailed. Sure, there are monsters and a pact with the devil in addition to the Foot ninja... but that sure doesn't sound like aliens to me! *yes!* :thyper:
