Ok I have been a tmnt fan since i new what a mutant turtle was , and like most kids i loved cowabunga and pizza the turtle's were great then when i grew up they kinda got kicked to the back burner because lets face it they got kinda cheesy , then one day while i was flippen threw the chanels i saw the new animated series it was darker, more action packed , mikey even had his numbchucks back , i was happey to see that the original image was being put out finaly i loved it i got back into toy collecting and now have a pretty good growing colection seson one through four had me watching every saterday moarning , ummm yeah that is untill resently when fast forward came out and compleatly ruined any thing the first four seasons did , i want to know what producer thought fast forward was a good idea and then i want to know why he still has a job , i resently whent to comcast digital cable and was lucky enough to see the real season five and let me challenge you with this if you can go watch the real season five and then whatch fast forward and you can honestly tell me fast forward is better ill call you lier , i love the turtles and i just dont want fast forward to kill them again luckly the new movie is coming out soon that seams to be are only hope well let me know what you think , thanks for the time

Basically, TMNT was failing in ratings and Toy sales by their expectations. The wanted to make it more kid friendly to try and fix that. Which was a bad move because it alienated alot of the grown up fans of the new toon.

well i'll have to say that i should have used spell check, and since i've gone back and reread the thread i guess you guys have every right to laugh ha ha ha ha , but really the only thing i feel bad about is that i called it image and i knew it was mirage the tmnt comic that was sighned by peter laird says it right on there so go ahead and have fun making fun of me , but when this fast f thing kills the turtles don't say I didnt warn you , o yeah if some one can tell me how to change the thread to mirage instead of imagie id be great full

you have a point, ff is not popular with many fans. it, however, was created to gain a child audience. give it time. i personally agree with you that it may do more harm than good but what can we do about it. the true season five is going to be made available via dvd but we do not know much else about the tmnt. though i hate to say it, tmnt will eventually end. i would prefer later more than sooner but thats the way things are. let's just cross our fingers that ff is not the reason the 03 cartoon is cancelled.

thank you neutrino that was the kind of answer i was hoping for when i started this thread i guess your right if it ends it ends but one thing is for sure it will leave behind great fans and great toys
