View Full Version : Is something like this possible?
Ok I had a thought. No one likes these DVD's aired out of order. So for those who own every single TMNT 2003 DVD that are aired out of order, is there a possible way to make a backup and customize which episodes go on it?
Sorta like a music CD. You pop in multiple CD's and select which song to add from it to the backup.
I in no way condone pirating, however isn't something like this possible where you can make them in order? Just a simple yes or no would do. I'm not looking for any explination on how, really I'm just curious if the process is even possible.

Yes you can, and it is not considered piracy. Your simply making copies of stuff you already own. All you have to do is rip the episodes on your PC and use a DVD making program to arrange them the way you like*If you want nice looking DVDs*
I suggest DVD lab pro. Then burn with Nero and there ya go. If you had a label maker and a nice printer you could make yourself a pretty cool DVD collection.
Awesome. Really I wouldn't care about making labels. I'd put the originals in their case and stuff them in the closet and keep the backups inside my DVD player (holds 400 discs) in chronological order.
Thanks for the info.

I used to have a program that allowed you to build proffesional menus. If you used that with it, you could make great DVDs for that kind of Project.

Would you be able to sell the real dvds afterwards once you made the copies?
Also, how much does DVD lab pro and Nero cost?

Legally you're not supposed to. But it's not like anyone would find out if you then decided to sell your originals on eBay or something.

I meant the official dvds, I wouldn't want to keep them once I made the "fixed" home-made dvds.
What I'm trying to say is, the dvds would be good to re-sell? (People sell used dvds on amazon, at Blockbuster, yard-sales...everywhere. As far as I know, it's legal).
