I haven't bothered to check any stores for the toys yet, nor do I have any money to get some. I have to move my arse: I promised a friend of mine that I'd get him a Mikey for his birthday, and that's in March, sooo...
-Badabing.
I went to the Toys R Us in downtown Toronto yesterday and I asked about the Turtles Toys. The lady said that someone had been in yesterday asking for them and that theyre not even in the computer yet, meaning that it will still be awhile. I dont live near a Wal Mart but I'll try and make it to one sometime soon.
Luckily though I scored a TMNT t-shirt at a store in Kensington that did iron-ons! Woot Woot!! I was happy about that at least :)

The red sky eps don't exist in French! I know 'cause I'm a Canadian francophone. The only french TMNT eps are From 1987 to 1989.

I've never heard about these episodes..Maybe I'll ask a friend a friend of mine who lives in Quebec. Oh and Keno, did you really find them in Toronto? SWEET! I'm going out right now!
Yea but it was only in a small store downtown. But I figure if they have them there, they must be starting to come everywhere else soon. Im going to Wal Mart tommorow
well ok after shovelling snow I ventured to Wal Mart today and I didnt find them(although I did find cute Popples toys!) and when I asked the guy sounded like he had no idea what I was talking about, so he doesnt think they're getting them any time soon :cry:

Hey, Stone Ill, you should check the GTA, they have tonnes of toys, of every kind. The best places to chack are collectable stores, where they sell comics, they'll usually have them.

well i just went out today and i found nothing :evil: no turtles and no MOTU (only reg skelly :roll: ) however they did restock with some big headed toys (don't remember what they're called, first time i've seen 'em).

Well, I'm not old enough to drive (I'm 14, turnin 15 this year), and no one will probably go with me..I could take the Go-Train..but, I don't know.
Yea i know the problems of transportation
Anyways, today I went through the Yellow Pages and called almost every single Comic Book store in Toronto. Most of them said no, they dont carry them. The only two that have them are:
Planet X - Victoria Park/St Clair West, Adress= 2879 St Clair West
The guy said they have all four turtles and one foot spoldier, no Splinter or Shredder. HE said they were short-shipped the first time and that he's expecting another shipment in afew weeks.
Silver Snail - Queen Street/Spadina, downtown. I SAW them here, but that was about 2 weeks ago and they were practically sold out. But maybe they've gotten a new shipment by now? This store seems to be the best bet because some other comic stores that I called referred me to them.
I was in Wal Mart last weekend and when I asked about the toys, they said they had no idea.

Silver Snail is a huge manufacterer for comics in Toronto! that's a good place to buy, they're almost garunteed to have the toys.

I haven't even heard of any of these shops! The only shop I remember the last time I went to Toronto, was "The Condom Shop"..Heh..They had a "Weenie Baby", a spoof on the "Beanie Baby".

I saw two of the toys (Raph and Don) yesterday in China Town at a Chinese New Year's event in Calgary. I wanted to buy them but they were 14$ and it just seemed too costly since I didn't need them that bad. I thought I could wait a few weeks until they were out at Wal Mart. I am very sad I didn't buy them now though...

Don't worry, soon they'll be everywhere, Canada included, cheaply too with any luck.
Just a suggestion, if anyone in Canada lives near the border they could come to the US to buy the figs.
On a completely unrelated note, I just need Shredder now to complete my collection! Mwhahaha! :evilgrin:

I only have Shredder and Raph. I bought Raph for $14 and Shredder for $15. Does anyone know why there's a difference in price? They're both about the same volume.

I'm in Vancouver, but I haven't been bothered to take a look at the local Walmarts and such to find the TMNT toys. Oh well, I'll have to check sometime and keep you guys aware. :lol:

I also paid $14 for mine, and I passed on the rest thinking the same as you but now Im also regretting it...
I think $14 makes sence tho, becuase if they're going for $7 it owuld be $14 with the conversion, right?

i think they'll go for $9.99 or $10.92 (like Motu). i doubt they'll be more than motu is though. $9.99 seems about right.

With the conversionof $7.00, The Canadian price would be:
x=7
x=7+(7x0.53)
x=7+3.71
x=$10.71
total price+ $10.71 (Cdn. funds)
