i was in my local comic store today, and a coupla guys that work there sometimes give me a bit of (harmless, tongue in cheek) stick for my love of the turtles, but today they were asking if i had seen the trailer or the upcoming movie, and how much they loved it!

Yeah I get that. I'll be in the bus with my laptop, and I'll have another driver hangin with me...I go, here check this out...and show them the trailer...I get good reactions.
I get teased all the time in the yard about my TMNT/turtle loves...I don't care. fooey on them. I love them and that's that.

Hopefully this movie shows people the TMNT kick just as much ass as Batman.

I foresee two possible outcomes; the movie becomes a smash hit, garnering praise from both fans of the property and newcomers alike. Thus begins a mini-renaissance of sorts for the TMNT, ushering in a new wave of popularity not seen since the original cartoon hit the airwaves in the late eighties.
Conversely, the film might please hardcore fans but fail to really gain an audience, and thus slowly fade away without much fanfare. Here's hoping it's the former. :)

We had one...and people smeared other people and generally made it not so fun, so Krang decided it was for the better to remove it.

Not that stupid...I'm asking myself the same thing. Wha??
Reputation system. Basically it's a popularity meter for each person, and can be used to give props or to throw rocks. I have never seen a single instance of it doing anything but harm on a fan site. It's really only useful for pro interest boards... like tech help boards.
