Wow the only crossover issues I don't have are:
Kangaroo one
Gen 13
Savage Dragon 22
Also TMNT don't make an appearance in mars attacks #1, they have an appearance in Mars Attacks Image #1 (as in they attack the company's characters), it's just Raph in one panel but I bought it becuase him anyway.
I think there's more than just these as well. I'll see if I can add to your list.
See? That's what I'm talking about! This is great! I'll go ahead and try to reference it with what little I have and add second printings here and there and then put it back on the board! In no time at all, between all of us, we'll have a hella comprehensive list!!
Thanks and good job!
Now my only question is how did you make it downloadable from the board? Did you have to link it to somewhere? I dunno how to do that...:(
hey TMNTgal....i belive you're missing Amazing Heroes #171...

Well Raph is one of the TMNT. It doesn't have to include all 4 of them. I think appearing in one panel is enough. Now that you've confirmed it for me I'll go ahead and order it from MyComicShop. :)
Most printings should be on there. I'm not sure how many printings were made for the Mirage Collected Books and for the Archie books. I looked through all my Archies and I have many cover variations, but I don't see printing information anywhere. I'll have these up on the list tomorrow.
IMJ, I simply uploaded the .doc file to my webspace, and posted it as a link.
TMNTerminator, they're also in Amazing Heroes #171? #170 is on there but not #171. Can you provide more info?
If anyone knows of any other variations please post the info here. Thanks everyone!
I think you meant to say that #107 is on there (not #170 as you just put- to my knowledge they are not in #170 but they are in #107 as you have in your listing)
Yea, they appear in issue #171. Raph is on the cover. I think it was from 1989.

#107 that's what I meant. The heat wave over here must be getting to me... Great! Thanks for the info, I will also try to find this issue.

I ran across cracked #255, it has a cover appearance of the tmnt. I KNOW there were mad parodies as I have one, but it's in an international reprint book form (got it in India) so I don't know what the real issue # is. It parodied the first movie.

TMNTGal, do you have TMNT Magazine #14? I was only aware of there being 13 issues. If you do possess a copy, can you please tell me if there is one of those little 4-pager comic strips like most of the other issues of the magazine series had?
Also, I know of a couple of TMNT comic appearances that are not on your list.
- PUMA BLUES #20 (1988, self-published by Steve Murphy and Michael Zulli with no publishing company listed at all)
Puma Blues lost its publisher (Aardvark-Vanaheim) and Murphy and Zulli were going to have to quit doing the series so the Mirage guys and some other big names pitched in to create this short-story anthology issue. Eastman and Laird provided a story starring the future swamp Raphael (also seen in the vision of the future in the Michaelangelo micro-series reprint backup story) saving one of the flying manta rays that were the trademark of the Puma Blues series.
- MIRAGE MINI-COMICS (1989, Mirage)
This was a packet containing about a dozen mini-comics (each about 3" x 5" and 8 pages long). Eastman & Laird provided a mini-comic in which Casey Jones fantasizes about being a private eye and having a machine gun shootout with the Turtles. Dean Clarrain and Michael Dooney provided a mini-comic that takes place between TMNT Adventures #s 7 and 8. Also, Mark Martin provided a zany mini-comic where a cartoon hippo tries to make out with a blow-up doll of Donatello (!). There are other cool non-TMNT mini-comics by Jim Lawson and Peter Laird, etc.
- TMNT Cereal (1989, Ralston)
When TMNT Cereal came out, there were 3 mini-comics that were offered as prizes at the bottom of the box. The 3 combined to tell a longer story. These comics are really small (2" x 3") and each page consists of but one panel. These comics are awesome because, although uncredited, they are drawn by Laird and maybe Eastman, too. Interesting that they were too busy to really spend time on comics during this period but they made time to make cereal box prizes. What makes these comics really interesting is that they do not appear to take place in any other known continuity, as they conflict with the Mirage series, Archie series, and (I think) cartoon. They feature the TMNT, Casey Jones, Man-Ray (flying like Superman) and Wingnut (without Screwloose), fly mutant Baxter Jones, and Shredder (piloting a gigantic Mouser) and it's very cool to see Laird in his 1980s prime draw these characters in this situation.
If you had any of these listed already and I missed them, I apologize. I also apologize for using so many (parentheses).

I do have issue 14. It was a Christmas story.
Thanks for the info kicknz. I will add them to the list. It will prove difficult to find those cereal promos. Would you happen to have a photo?
Ectocooler, do those magazines contain TMNT related comic strips? I've seen tons of magazines on MyComicShop with TMNT covers but I am not sure what they actually contain inside. The only actual magazines I allowed on the list were those that contain comic strips inside.

I just got a new scanner as part of a package deal. I don't even know if it's b+w or color or what. But I will scan in those cereal comics. If I don't do it soon please e-mail me at
[email protected] to remind me. No need to be polite, either. E-mail me until I do it.
Can you please tell me - did Jim Lawson draw the strip in TMNT Magazine #14?

Yes in that issue of cracked there is a tmnt feature. I'm looking for the mad issue, I don't know if turtles appear on the cover, but I've read the story inside and it makes fun of the first turtles movie in regular mad manner.
I have one of those cereal mini comics. You'd be surprised how easy it is to find them, I remember going to a toy show and there was a lady selling every single tmnt cereal box variation (and there were TONS). Mine has baxter stockman, still I don't think they're turly worthy of comic status as they're like 3 pages and around the size of a quarter, because if those are game then all the newspapers that ran comic strips of the turtles would be too and I definitely don't count those.

Of course they count. A strip doesn't have to be a full length comic book to be a comic. The cereal comics are not the "size of a quarter" and they're not 3 pages. Combined, they add up to what would probably be an 8-page short story on a regular sized comic book page. As for the newspaper strip, it's not like each of those newspapers were running their own strips. There was just the main strip from Mirage and Creators Syndicate, which told a long, on-going story. They're comics, they tell a story, how do they not count?

Can someone sticky this? :)
I added most of the Archie variations I own. The last few I will update tomorrow. You'll notice I used a new format for those. The current book count is 549. If anyone knows anything I'm missing please post that info so I can track it down.
