Who thinks the new ghetto April is cool

I've been hearing mixed opinions about this new "ghetto" april. I think she makes the show better...cuz what kind of Turtle would be attracted to an ugly annoying news reporter...rather than a hot ghetto girl? I know I wouldn't...and I'm as close to a turtle you can get. Let me know what yall think.

I can't wait until this show hits. And, dont many new shows appear on DVD? I hope the episodes arrive on DVD after the first season is over, along with old TMNT eps :) I mean, after all, the movies are all out now.

I don't think she's ugly. *speaks hypnotically* She's got that voice like an angel. And her form is so... so... *slaps self* As I was sayin'... the new look is sizzlin hot (never thought i'd describe cartoons with these words)... and way better lookin than the old look. But she was good-lookin in the old toons. It's just that she wore this big, puffy, yellow suit all the time. Anyway... i'm just saying she wasn't exactly "ugly". Just not as great-lookin compared to her new look. Do you think she will actually fight in this new look of hers? maybe it comes with a new attitude!!!

not me. shes not some 'young hipster' or whatever. she should be an average woman in mid-late 20s, at least thats what i gathered from the comics. she works as a lab assistant, so im guessing shes probably out of college, or she could be interning. she was kinda a mother figure for the turtles at times. i dont like her at all. i just hope she doesnt go around saying 'get jiggy with it' and 'like snap yo! its the shredder, DAMN!" all the time.

Yeah they changed her pretty much from the original April. Or her age and clothing atleast. Well atleast shes is not a reporter like in the old toon, but a computer programmer. Who knows, maybe the age is the only thing that differs from the original april...
