[Red Lioness]

I liked Where Angels Fear to Tread so much I did a cover for the first fic, Rapture of the Deep

This actually doesn't reflect what happens in the story much, but it does reflect on the title, which is a nod to Makai's history. Makai is the oldest fan character I still play. I thought her up when I was in high school and she's still much the same as she was then. Pele followed afterwards, but she's undergone such dramatic changes it's almost as if she's a different character altogether.http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2048255/1/

Anyway, I was a big fan of the Archie TMNT comic series, where the turtles often travelled the world and met with other Mutants. In the original idea I had Makai met up with Mikey in the waters off of Hawaii. His brothers thought he was suffering from 'Rapture of the Deep', a condition suffered by scuba divers where they simply flip out, tear off thier scuba equipment and swim into the depths.

Anyway, I love the look on Mikey's face. It's like: I'm trapped in kelp and I'm drowning, but I'll deal with that later . . . .

Pele, Leo, and Raph were all hand drawn. Everything else is my mad Photoshop skillz.

Rather simple in the design, this is Lilith, the main character and bestest bad guy I've ever made up. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2048255/3/

The mask represents the false front she presents to everyone; the obediant kunoichi sacrificing herself to serve her master, hence the tears of blood; a universal symbol of suffering. Behind the mask, however, we find something much darker and more dangerous, hence to drinking blood. I added the bit of tongue to add to the sultry look of the character.

She evil and cruel and deadly and bad for you and probably has Surgeon General's warning stamped all over her, but you'll want to come back begging for more.

God I love this character!
