I snagged this book at Borders, at 20% off, the day it came out. It's written by Max Brooks, the genius behind The Zombie Survival Guide. The book is written like a factual book about a real world war, say Vietnam. Its odd, reading it, because I find myself thinking "this seems realistic...but it isn't" there's a plethera of facts, statistics and all this jazz, and it all ties together like some real deal.

Anyone else get this?

I think I'll look into it... and pray I never need to use it.

... a real world war, say Vietnam...I'm sorry if I'm rude, but Vietnam wasn't a World War. There were only two World Wars so far and they both took place in mainly Europe. The second lashed out a bit, I admit, but still, Europe was the main place of battle back then. Vietnam was just a world-class embarassment for the USA, but that's it.

... You know I really care about historical facts.

Other than that, the book sounds really interesting. I mean, as a lover of both history and zombies, a book on zombiehistory can't be a thing that I'd deem bad. It will be awfully hard to get it over here. But I'll try though. Do you have an ISBN-number or something?

I meant as in real-world, as in real life, in our world, and a war, I know Vietnam wasn't a world war...Anyway, the book even makes reference to Americas Army, the game that was recruiting people for the army.

I have to wait until X-mas before i get to read this, but i loved the Zombie Survival Guide so come December this will be top of my to-do list. I wonder how the movie will be done though if it's all facts... flashbacks maybe?
