Quick animation

I downloaded a sweet little program recently called Easytoon, which is really easy to work with and makes GIF animations. It's the perfect thing for when I'm in an animating mood and I want to try something out really quick.

This evening I did Splinter vs. Archers... he rolls away, turns, throws a shuriken and leaps to dodge that last arrow.

Hey that's awsome. I love it. Only thing though, is that the program doesn't seem to have a ''mask'' option. Nonetheless, this thing is so easy to use, I think that this will start a new trend in the drome, I'm pretty sure that this thread will soon become a Easytoon thread :)

Wow. Wowwowowow...... This is straight-ahead and all, I'm guessing. Everything I see from you just keeps getting greater... Trying not... to murder... self... for studying... architorture... instead of... animation....

I must look into this program -- it might be just the thing for my busy schedule.:)

Thanks, guys... this was really fun to do. So much easier than trying to make GIFs in Photoshop.

It was straight-ahead indeed, with very little idea of what I was going to do before I did it. Therefore it has some flaws (the best example of which is the lack of good silouhette for the shuriken throw... sometimes I even forget he's throwing one when I watch it) but oh well. Yay practice! :D

And if any of you make some animated goodness, I wanna see. :P

This thing is so fun. But man, I really need a pad for this, because working with a mouse is a pain in the a$$. I'm now working on a little something, but you will have to remember that I'm working with a friggin mouse... :lol:

Mouse would make it harder indeed, but I don't doubt you could come up with something cool, dude. ;)

That's a pretty cool little animation there. It flows so nicely and quickly. Nice job!

Maybe I'll get this Easytoon program instead of using Blender which I barely understand.

Masked One, from where did you download this wonderful program? There are many websites, but nothing that seems very official in the English language. Could you provide the link you used to download EasyToon? I'd much appreciate it.:)

I hear ya... I tried to make a ninja turtle in Blender... it sucks! :tlol:

The one I used is the first on the Google list: this one. (http://www.superfundungeonrun.com/easytoon/) Just click the link near the top and it'll open a ZIP folder. Extract it and you're done! It takes a little poking around to find the pencil size changer (and I still haven't found the eraser... at least switching foreground/background colors lets me use a white pencil AS an eraser...)
