From fogu.com, I present to you the rejected theme song for TMNT 2K3 from the Toys R Us FoxBox Promo Kit's CD (http://www.fogu.com/toon/foxbox/opening-theme-song.mp3). They could have saved themselves a lot of money by using this for FF's theme. I doubt anyone would have liked it any less than what they have now.

I'm glad they didn't use this for the 2003 series...it's not too bad, but it doesn't really fit the show that well.

I agree :) I hate the FF theme.

Though I don't like the rejected one either, it simply lacks the power and agression, it's too corny and too simplistic if you ask me. The one they chose (one, two, three, four) is way better in my opinion.

And it taught all those poor children to count!

I think we should mix up some hardcore style version!

Someone needs to do a metal TMNT song. Now that would be interesting to hear. A metal version of the old school TMNT intro.

I heard a soul music type verion of the old theme on youtube...it was rather scarey.

Are you saying you take pleasure in the struggles of those poor children? Such achievements should be applauded! I'm dyslexic you know!

Well, to appease both Sewer Bull and Spitfire, why don't we just go metalcore with the theme? A friend and I were going to do that with the OS theme.

I support this idea wholeheartedly.

I like this one! They just needed to make the beat a little stronger, more pronounced and it would be better than the count off version.

I would be watching Fast Forward if they made it like Batman Beyond, now that would be a good concept, and then they could have a techno intro.

And whaddya know? I found a hardcore/posthardcore/punk/whatsoever cover of the old theme! Sung by the band named "HORSE the band", it was released last month on their EP entitled... "Pizza". The song ain't that bad, yet it could be way better - it sounds more like a musical joke played to fill the aforementioned album rather than a masterminded and well arranged piece.

I'm afraid I can't paste the link to this song here but if anyone's interested in listening to it - just let me know.
