I e-mailed Dan a few questions. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to answer a bulk of them since he isn't in the info loop at the moment. However, he did tell me that 4kids and Mirage are planning to showcase the entire Lost Season 'On Demand'.

Do they plan on even showing the entire storyline on demand?

Yes.

I asked about a possible December release for the DVD set, for which he replied with "The initial announcement for the DVD release was "early 2007" - so I'm afraid that it will not be out in time for Christmas unless 4Kids makes drastic changes to their plan (which they haven't yet - but never say never)."

Same about the new theatrical trailer for TMNT. No news on that one. But, at least we know that they do plan on putting up every episode of the Ninja Tribunal arc On Demand! Now when that will happen, that's a question he couldn't answer.

See... I'm a bit indifferent about that. At one point, I'm like YES!!! I get to see all the episodes, but then I'm like - I really want to see the last 9 episodes on the disk. I can wait another 75 + days. As long as they're up for watching, my ass will be parked here and watching them.

I'm a dummy and still have no clue what "On Demand" means.

I demand an explanation!

on demand is just a service some digital cable providers offer. Comcast is showing a "ninja turtles special" on their on demand. you can choose a show and watch it as if you had recorded it on DVR

Is Comcast's On-Demand service a pay-per-day thing like my local cable provider does?

I get it as part of my digital cable package. The only thing I have to pay extra for is if I chose to watch a program that was from a channel I don't get...Like HBO or Showtime or one of those (I don't get the pay channels) or if I was to order a movie or sporting event on Pay Per View

Comcast's On Demand service has SOME stuff that's pay and some that's always free. The TMNT eps are 100% free.

Nice to know they're gonna be showing all 13 eps. But I'll still buy the DVD when it comes out.

Now if only they'd show the 2nd ep. Hrm... :ohwell:

It was on the schedule for last month as well as this month, so I'm wondering what the delay is too. :ohwell:

This is great. They'll be own Comcast, which means someone will upload them on You Tube, which means I'll be able to watch them.

I'll still buy 2 copies of the DVD though.

2 copies?

It's times like this I wish my town had Comcast...I mean Little Rock has it. Oh well, I'll see them some how.

At this rate, it'll be already out on DVD by the time they put all of it up anyway.
